Hi, I'm new here at bulbagarden, but definatly not new to pokemon, like many others i started out with pokemon red on the gameboy color back in the late 90's, i eventually got yellow, silver and crystal, though crystal is where my pokemon adventures stopped. Just recently I found my old copy of pokemon the first movie, from there i began to go back and watch all the old anime episodes and i bought a copy of leaf green for my DS, (I had sold my gameboy color along with all my games a while back) im not really into the newer games, I prefer playing the kanto journey.

Anyway, im training to become the world's greatest pokemon master! (sorry i couldent resist) and i thought i might aswell join the community seeing is how i use bulbapedia often.

Btw, great website! but i have a bit of a problem, ive uploaded a signature pic, but for some reason it will not display, could anyone help me out?

I had blue, gold, and stopped with sapphire, only because I don't have a DS.

I'm rewatching the anime too.
 
Hey there! Nice to see an old skool Pokemon fan like myself. =) Though I did eventually break down and play Platinum... I actually booted up my old GBC and tried to play my Pokemon Gold game... and couldn't. XD I've been spoiled with the DS graphics and the larger screen. lol

Anyway, hope you enjoy your stay here! =D

I got spoiled by the GBA. I tried to play Crystal, and I can't. I only want to play HG now, but I can stand playing Emerald.
 
It's not so much the graphics for me, i got spoilt by the backlit screen!
hmm it looks asthough my sig is now up, awesome!

I am not sure if you can "upload" here.. But I am sure you should try to put the link of your signature picture.. Use the [IMG*]link of image[/IMG*] (Without the asterisks)..

this is odd, my sig picture has only showed up once in the post above, but it won't show up anymore, see it's a trainer card I made online, then saved to my computer, then i uploaded it in my user CP.

You mean the posts after you uploaded show up only, but the previous don't show up right? If so, you can ignore it, I encountered this before as well.. Not sure what's the problem..
 
thats not the problem, I am posting on the 5th gen forum but my sig wont appear there, it only seems to appear here

First off, welcome to BGMF! Enjoy your stay! Second, there are certain places where your sig doesn't appear such as the fifth gen forum. Hope that helps!
 
Welcome, I hope you like it here.

I also like the old Gameboy Colour games, I have been playing Yellow every now and again. Crystal is one of the more fun ones though.

If you aren't having any luck with your signature showing up try uploading it to one of the image hosting sites such as photobucket or imageshack.

If you need any help feel free to ask!
