Well, hello. I am a budding sprite artist, but I still have a lot to learn. Mainly, splicing, neons, and scratching.

I am fairly good at recolors, however. As can be evident...

These are my signature Corrupted Pokemon.

Anyone care to give me some advice?

Lol I also started out spriting by first doing recolors too.
Try splicing next. They not may end up great at first but you have to practice alot.
Your recolors look good, but try more difficult things like Neons, infernos, and Splices.

Like the above poster said, you should try splices.

THEN WE ARE AT REVAMPS/DEVAMPS

Others wise, they look good.

They're good, but the colours are a bit too bold for them, if you get what I'm saying. :) Like... they're far too saturated in a sense to be looking like a lot of the regular Pokémon sprites that we have in the games. Other than that, however, you have the shading recolouring down good, so that's something to be proud of. ^^

The only hard part is finding the right colors to match the already existing colors. After that, I can do the actual recoloring in about a minute, maybe half a minute.

So, any fairly easy splices you guys could suggest?

Perhaps a Skitty and a Meowth to start off?

I also tried recoloring first, as my quilfish/porygon can attest.
Do a diglett/voltorb, that should be fairly easy, and dude, what a kickarse corrupted regice! Goodluck in your spriting career!:spin:

As for Neons ands Infernos, I do have two lessons on them.

Neons and Infernos.

As for splicing, I used you tube haha. They have some good ones.

Umbreon, and Espeon? Actually any eeveelutions. They all have nearly the same body structures.

First splice! =D

It looks very cute~! ^^ Great job on it~ I know Meowth is kind of like the lucky cats you see at Asian restaurants -- but this reminds me more of one. Hehe~ ^^
