Help for platinum

Hey i have just bought the pokemon platinum version. I have not even started it yet. Do you have a good advice to find some good legendaries and some other things as it takes long time to search in bulbapedia.
 
Shorter time than useful responses in this thread, I can assure you. All the legendaries are practicaly in the same place as D.P
