Help: Global Terminal problem

I'm playing Pokemon Platinum on my R4DS. I can use the Wi-Fi Plaza and I can receive the Secret Key and other Mystery Gifts or use anything else with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection in general but I can't use anything in the Global Terminal. When I go to the Global Terminal, for example, I talk to the receptionist, she asks me to save the game, the game saves and I go through the door. But then the screen goes black instead of the Wi-Fi connection screen and it seems to freeze. I'm not using any kind of cheats.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I have no idea whats up with it.
With the R4 you download the game and put it onto an SD card right ? It might be a dud download

Yes, that's right. I don't know about the rom, whether it has problems or not.
But it will be great if someone who has encountered that problem can help me.

I dont think many people here use an R4 but I'm not to sure.
TRy a different rom and see of that one works with the global terminal.

I do believe that using ROMs is illegal so you won't get much help here.

That's because using an R4 is something Nintendo spits in the eye at, so it doesn't work for ya, heheh...

Ehem... seriously though, go get yourself a real game so that you don't run into any problems.
