Help! I have a couple of questions...

I recently got into collecting these figures, and I was wondering if someone could help me with a couple of questions. What is the difference between a 1st generation figure and a second generation figure? Also, I recently bought some figures through the mail and they came to me with no spinner base, do some of the figures actually come with no base? Thanks in advance for the help, I appreciate it.

generation? You mean like Pikachu, Charizard and Abra as opposed to Teddiura, Ferligatr, andMurkrow? Nothing... generations mean nothing in the TFG.

And if you mean the figures came with a base that explains the attacks, but cant be spinned, you have to take one of the spinners of another figure. They don't always come with them.

OOPS! I meant whats the difference between first and second **edition** figures. Sorry about that. So here in the US there are some figures that do not come with a spinner base? ALL of the figures I purchased at local stores have come with spinners. The ones that I have that do not have spinners were some I managed to get from a pokemon forum member. I was surprised and I must say disappointed to see them without the base.
