So, I've been IV breeding for a while now and I've decided to finally build a competitive team. This is my first ever competitively built team, so I would like you to tell me in what ways I could improve it. I've pretty much got my mind set on which Pokémon I want to have on this team, but you're free to suggest new members if you think it's necessary.

I've put question marks in spots I'm not sure about yet what I want with them. There are also spots where I've narrowed down to two or three options which I can't choose from, so I've put all two or three of those options in said spot. I would like to know which of those options you deem to be the wisest choice.

Well, let's get started then!

1) Mega Mawile @ Mawilite
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Intimidate --> Huge Power
EVs: 252 Atk 252 Def 6 HP/SpD
IVs: 31/31/31/x/31/31

IVs: 31/31/31/x/31/0

~Seed Bomb/Power Whip

3) Mismagius @ ???

Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spe 252 SpA 6HP
IVs: 31/x/31/31/31/31
Moves:
~Hex
~Thunderbolt
~Power Gem
~Psychic

4) Vaporeon @ ???
Nature: Calm
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP 252 SpD 6 SpA

Im only gonna make some small recommendations until the big dogs come along to rate this. You dont have Leftovers on anyone so that can definitely get slapped on Vaporeon. Since you cant slap another on Sableye you could think of slapping Trick on him which will always go first thanks to Prankster and throw a Iron Ball or something on opposition. Although finding a spot for it will be tough since WoW/Taunt/Recover is what he's known for so thatll take some thinking.

Mismagius has a good SpDef base stat to think about Assault Vest, i never realized it til now considering the item clause we want to follow. But she'll need Shadow Ball over Hex unless you plan on throwing a Thunder Wave somewhere. Burn is the only status you can inflict if Thunderbolt isnt lucky and Hex will look useless against Fire types because of that. If not AV then maybe a Scarf or Specs but either way, the Pain Split isnt looking to stay. Unless you run Trick with two attacks.

If you really want a Pokemon to abuse Prankster I'd replace it with a Parafusion/SwagPlay Klefki. If I were you I'd abuse the hell out of SwagPlay while its still legal. After SwagPlay gets banned you'd still be able to use Klefki as a Parafusion Pokemon. It also helps greatly against both Mega Zards as they are both immune to Will O' Wisp.

And I would replace Mismagius with a Spinner. Hazzards are a really big thing this generation, much more than last, plus your team would benefit from it. I'd recommend Excadrill.

Otherwise its a fairly solid team if you're fairly new to competitive battling.

Never invest in defenses before HP.

Swords dance should be used in Mawile's last slot.

Foul Play or Knock Off should be used in Sableye's last slot. Sableye and Klefki aren't really comparable as Sableye's access to Recover and WoW make him a sponge as opposed to a utility mon, like Klefki, who sets Spikes, Screens, Weather, and spreads paralysis.

Here's my advice take the mawile and...... throw it off a cliff. Mawile is one of the more mediocre megas, and it's really easy to play around. I'd advise swapping your mawile with a Bisharp. He accomplishes the same thing but he's better at what he does. I'd advise going for:

Bisharp@ Leftovers
Adamant
Defiant
52 HP/252 attk/204 Spe

Sucker Punch
Swords Dance
Iron Head
Stone Edge/Night Slash

This way you get basically the same mon, but you can get a better mega. I'd also say to use Knock Off on your last spot for Sableye as you can really hurt the opposing team with it.

I'd also advise bulk up instead of swords dance on talonflame and power whip on your Ferrothorn.

If you are using Bisharp you need to be using one of these two variants:

Bisharp @ Life Orb/Choice Band/Assault Vest
Defiant
Adamant
4 HP/252 Atk/252 Speed
~Knock Off
~Sucker Punch
~Iron Head
~Swords Dance/Pursuit

Or

Bisharp@Leftovers/Dread Plate
Defiant
Adamant
124 HP/252 Atk/132 Spe
~Swords Dance
~Substitute
~Sucker Punch
~Iron Head/Knock Off

Okay guys, thanks for the help!

I'll definitely put some of your suggestions into practice :)
