help on move tutors?

in the survival area the tutor taught outrage to my pokemon, now i want him to teach it seed bomb, but he refused! why is that?
 
1.choose the move you want in advance (must be applicable with the pokemon)
2.get what he wants
3.then let him teach the move
This is simple really my Lucario relearned Dark Pulse that way
 
You might not have enough shards to get Seed Bomb. What Pokemon do you want to tutor it onto, anyway? =P
 
Yes, you do. For the Platinum move tutors, anyway. The one in Pastoria that teaches forgotten moves still uses Heart Scales.
 
You need 8 shards for one move the colours depend on the move, seed bomb for example needs 4 red and 4 green. So get digging :)
 
aww... ever move needs about 4 red...

i only got 1 red...

but 9 green :)
