I need an avatar and banner please. Only one request: please try to avoid downloading at all times.

Avatar:

It's the pic by the Rumor Weed Song lyrics

It's the pic by the Keep Walking song lyrics

http://www.jonahmovie.com/html/movie/index.html
It's in movie stills, it's the two peas with the fish

Banner:
http://www.comics.com/comics/getfuzzy/archive/getfuzzy-20030328.html
It's the 3/28 comic strip

Thanks!

One question, do you want the avatars put together or just three separate?

last one of the avatars. I'll work out the banner as well but I've got college in just an hour and have to catch a bus a well

The banner is a bit tricky. If you shrink it to allowed sizes, the text will become barely readyble, so I made a few versions of it.

First one, perfectly 400 at large, but well, the text..:-(

last one, somewhere in the middle, about 540 pixels.

BTW. do you know how to post pictures?

just do it like this

[*IMG]insert url here[/IMG*]

And remove the *'s

Made a mistake, didn't post the second one. Here it is, about 600 pixel large, i'm afraid

psst... did you like the songs that came with the two avatars? The Rumor Weed Song is one of my favorites!
You can download the sound file, but I don't know if it's the one from the show or the one performed by the W's (I think the W's version is better)

PROBLEM!!!
I'm trying to use the Rumor Weed Avatar, but every time I put it in the option thing, it says "not valid .jpg or .gif file" What should I do?

....uhhh, nevermind

Well, it seems to work now. But I know the problem, it happend to me before as well. Don't know why. Best thing to do is copy it and safe again.

I thought the lyric were quite funny, actually I started to think the whole vegietales thing is funny. Those two with the fish from the Jonah movie made me laugh. Made me remeber me first little Jonahbook as well. a little pop-up book, really funny. :-)

If I were you, then, I'd go try to rent, borrow, or buy Jonah - A VeggieTales Movie (especially on DVD, but they have VHS as well). I saw it twice in theaters and hundreds of times on DVD, it just keeps getting better! I think they even do stuff no computer animation company ever thought of before (excluding talking vegetables :-p )!

Ooh, you liked the fish-slapping Ninevites? (played by the French peas)

I could tell you hundreds more things about Jonah, but I don't want to give it away. You should go find a copy of Jonah. Rental stores probably still have Jonah, but if not try any Christian bookstore (but you'll have to buy one). And if you like it coem tell me, and I can suggest other videos by the Big Idea production company (the people who make VeggieTales of course).

"My name is Khalil. I am a caterpillar. Well, that is only half true. My mother was a caterpillar, my father was a worm. But I am okay with that now."
- one of my favorite quotes from Jonah

psst... check out my homepage...

Well, problem is my country never aired Vegggietales :bawling: So I highly doubt I can find the Jonah movie out here. Anyway, if veggietales came here, it would probably be dubt, and now I think the romour weed is funny, but when I think about a dubed version..*shivers* Living in a country that considers itself highly secularirst isn't everything. I remember when at primary school I was the only one who acctually knew the true meaning of Easter! Well nowaday, walking trough a mall, looking at all easter eggs and event planned for tomorrow, I still got that idea.

So the fishslappers are the Ninevites? I supose fishslapping is a sign of a sinfull life :-) O-o, now I have a highly anoying song about Jonah playing trough my head, something meant for six-years old kids:-)

Oh yeah. I keep forgetting about the country thing. :ohdear: VeggieTales is only available in America, and in English, and all their episodes are released on home videos. The only episodes played on TV were the two Christmas episodes and they were only on Public Access.
Yes, it sure does stink to be a popular yet still independent Christian values based computer animation company in Lombard, Illinois. But hey, look on the bright side! Jonah is the very first VeggieTales video/DVD that was also distrubuted in spanish and their latest, not upcoming, sing along DVD had one of their silly songs in japanese! So there's hope that they're venturing into other countries (especially if you live in a spanish or possibly japanese speaking country)

psst... what country are you from, anyway?

I still haven't heard Jonah in spanish, though. I was looking forward to it until I heard that their songs were in spanish as well. How good or bad can a spanish singing gospel choir sing anyway?

If you want to, you can check out clips from their videos eppies at http://www.bigidea.com/videos/veggietales/ They have clips form their shows from Madame Blueberry to Jonah - A VeggieTales Movie. All clips are in English, though. You can also venture off and check out clips from their other projects, but I never seen Larryboy and 3-2-1 Penguins! series yet, so I can't tell you how good they are or not.
psst.. you need QuickTime Player to play the clips, they have downloads available in any video clips page.

:bounce: I hope that'll keep you entertained! :bounce:

I'm from the Netherlands, so there's no Spanish or Japanese speaking around here :-( .
But I'm browsing to some episode pictures right now and they're fun as well. And I already have Quicktime on my computer...

A Spanisch gosspel, sounds.... interestings. Spanish is not a too bad langue (altough I suck at Roman langues), but singing vegetables in Spanish?

Think I'm getting a bit into Veggietales. Not bad for someone who nevewr heard about it until a few weeks ago. :-) :-)

If you think singing in Spanish sounds funny :-D their main character, Jonah, is played by the VeggieTales character Archibald Asparagus. Archibald has a British accent (and not a bad one considering Archibald is played by an midwestern American). So think about a British guy speaking spanish. Or French guys, since the French peas are in the movie!!! OR a Scottish guy, one of the characters in Joppa has a Scottish accent :goof:   Methinks I want to watch it in spanish now!!

Actually, the whole cast is played by midwestern Americans. In fact, most of the cast is voiced by two guys (who coincidentally are the creators). Phil Vischer voices pretty much half of the cast, and Mike Nawrocki voices a third of the cast. The rest is voiced by animators and friends of Phil and Mike (including Phil's wife, Lisa Visher, who voices my favorite character of all, Junior Asparagus)

This weekend I'll email BigIdea via customer service email line. It may not do good, but csrep9 and I know each other by name now, so they KNOW how much of a fan am I!! Maybe I can get them to bring some videos over to the Netherlands for ya somehow.

But remember, I'm not an obsessed fan, i just watch the audio commentary one too many times.

:bounce: HERE WE GO BUNGIE!!! :bounce:

 if anyone sound like an opsessed fan.. But I know what you mean, that how I look about Pokemon, well there are actually to many other thing in my live that have my attention as well.

*tries to think about all different accented characters spweaking Spansh and starts to laugh* This sound really funny.

I was thinking about how many interest there would be in the nwetherlands for Veggietales. I know there live about two christian families in my street, of which at least one has little children. Sounds interesting. Now most people I know aren't christians, some of them are, but they don't do anything with it, and others could be, but don't show it. Makes me think of something funny, a few weeksago I had to write a history essay, and my group was dividing subject. Now one of those subjects was the anexation of eastern Jerusalem by Isreal in 1968 (if I'm not mistaken) Now there where three persons who wanted that subject, me and two other, and we all had a christian background!:-) quite funny.

o, and I suddenly mentioned your :bounce: thing really looks like a veggietales character when streched out.

really? :bounce: This reminded me of a French Pea with arms. And the part of the Salesmunz Rap from Madame Blueberry when they mention rope for going bungie:

:bounce: Bungie! Bungie! Bungie Bungie Bungie! Here we go Bungie! Come on! :bounce:

About the video thing:
My mom gave me an idea that I thought of, but I don't know if you'll be too thrilled about it like she was. Her idea was for us to swap mail addresses, you mail me the $14.95 (average cost of a video) and the video or DVD you want, I'll spend the money on the video or DVD and mail it to you. I don't know if it'll work thoguh. First it probably infringes on the privacy policy I had to sign to join the board. Second, I'm not sure if the Netherlands use the same money system as we do (I'm not rude or anything, I just don't know)

BigIDea csreps haven't emailed me back from Friday's email. I'll keep you posted on that.

I hoped I've helped instead of being a bother! :-D

Good news! As soon as I posted the last post, Vicki (csrep9) replied to my email. Maybe she can help us with our dilemma!

I cut out her voice mail number just in case. Also, I asked her about their latest production An Easter Carol. With all the hoopla goings on about it, I thought it'd be done by this Easter.

Really thanks for all the work you did for me ;-)

But well, the first problem I have is that the Netherlands don't use dollars. I don't have any internet pay account as well. I could get one, but I never do those with without talking about it to my parents, and thats a real different problem, because, well, my parents think Internet is a great medium, but not for buying things and personal contacts. I mean, if they would really found out what being registers to a forum means, I'd would have to explain a lot. Same goes for online buying. It's a pity, but I don't want to risk major problems with my parents as well. :-(

Anyway, I'm going to the city this afternoon (for a 15 minutes talk with my teacher, and have to travel and wait almost 2 hour to do that, so I might try to get a christian book store that crazy enough that the'll try to import it for me ( I do't think so, but you'll never know :-) )

An Easter Carol? seems like next year, I have the same problen going on :-) I'm such an Easter girl :-D

Oh and, when :bounce: is streched out, and I scroll down, he remains streched out, and looks like an cumcumber:-D
