Idk/Idc if this is in the wrong spot. I couldn't find anywhere else to ask about this. They really should make a section where we can talk about our game systems/consoles.

So I was playing Platinum on my DS Lite, and i was drinking some Snapple, and my dog bumped my arm and my ENTIRE drink got dumped right onto my open DS. Under the buttons, in the microphone, under the screen, EVERYTHING. I cleaned it off as quickly as I could, and pushed some tissue (its really absorbant) underneath the buttons. The whole time, Platinum didn't freeze or anything, and I still get sound from it, but idk if something might happen later, the liquid might travel though the DS later and get screwed up then.
Has anyone spilled anything on their DS before? What did you do? Does it still work? Please respond, I need help as soon as I can get it before my DS gets even more damaged.

When I water damage my electronics, I put them in a container of rice. Rice absorbs water, so it may be able to draw the Snapple out. Just keep it open as though you're playing it, take out the game, and throw it in some rice. Worked for my gameboy and cell phone.

Okay thanks I'm doing that now. How long should I leave it in? Overnight?

Overnight, or a day or two.

Okay. Thanks again. I hope it works! If it doesn't, it's okay, it's still under Gamestop's 1-year warranty, and people have said that they cover for water damage
