What are your moves levels etc we need details

Okay. My Ampharos is Lv43 and knows Signal beam,ThunderPunch,Discharge, and Thunder wave.My Machamp is Lv41 and it knows Seismic toss,Stength,Cross chop, and Rock slide.Feraligatr is Lv45 and knows Slash,Crunch,Surf, and Ice fang.
Staraptor is Lv44 and it knows Close Combat,U-turn,Quick Attack and Fly. Lugia is still Lv45 and knows the moves that you catch Lugia with in Soul silver.

^Not to be mean but your Poke need to be leveled up by 15-20 levels otherwise you'll never beat them
Most of my pokemon were lower leveled than RebelBoy's Ampharos and I still beat the E4. ._.
Anyways, I suggest getting an Ice pokemon/Pokemon with an ice move such as Blizzard or ice fang to help beat Lance.
You can't tutor Feraligatr ice punch until you go to the Battle Frontier and have a certain amount of BP.
But ice fang is a good move too, though.

Dude you also need to buy PP up and alot of status and health potions.Alot of those and you can sure kick there ass.

you dont necessarily need to train 'hard', as some people are suggesting, to beat the elite four. i never have, anyways. usually my pokemon are underleveled... actually, my pokemon are ALWAYS underleveled.
buy lots of revives, full restores, and save those ethers/elixers/leppa berries till you start to run dry on moves. its not like money is hard to come by in this game (im almost at 300k, and ive yet to beat the e4) anyways.
my team is Ampharos, Politoed, Umbreon, Meganium, Dragonair, and Noctowl with my lowest at 40 and highest at 43.
Will is easy to take down with a combonation of dark/electric/flying(for Exeggutor)/ice, almost never lose a pokemon.
Koga is the hardest for me; namely cause i have no GROUND types. Ground > Poison, so if you could i would teach Machamp Earthquake (you can find it in the cave before the E4), possibly in exchange for Strength or a fighting move (2 fighting moves isnt really necessary, as opposed to one of fighting and one of ground). Also,
Bruno will be a cinch for you, my noctowl almost took out his whole team @lv 40. Lugia + Staraptor = more than enough for you.
I havnt made it to Agatha yet, but i know she's heavy on dark pokemon, as well as a vileplume and a houndoom.
Vileplume < Ice/Flying attacks.
Houndoom < Water/Fighting attacks.
you happen to have those already, the rest are weak to fighting attacks. yay =D

Gyarados < Ampharos
Dragonites x3 < Ice Fang, however you'll prob need some full restores

Basically, get a 6th party member who's either a ground type, or is durable and can condition/lay spikes.

Use ampharos against the first guy(will) spam signal beam,
the second guy(koga) you should use lugias Extrasensory to take out his poison pokemon
3rd guy(bruno) use fly/Aeroblast or yet again Extrasensory.
4th woman(karen) use staraptors close combat till he dies and use machamp to finishi the rest.
now you will have to fight lance
he will use charizard,aerodactly,gyarados,and three dragonites
you have to have a pokemon that can learn blizzard
go to goldenrod citys department and get those two TMS and take on the elite 4 again
feraligatr doesnt need to learn surf so go to blackthorn city and there will be a house next to the poke shop go there and talk to the guy on the very left and he will make pokemon forget HMs like surf,make feraligatr learn blizzard.
Now
Ampharos>charizrd and aerodactly and gyarados
feraligatr>all 3 dragonites.
the rest of the pokemon should be back up also get plenty of HP recovers.And if this still doesnt help you out i say go and kill some pokemon and atleast get your pokemon upto level 47.

I'd like to point out that you can buy Revival Herbs from the old lady in the Goldenrod underground and they act as Max Revives in that they recover all HP of a fainted Pokemon and not just half. This can be really helpful against the Elite 4. I know they saved me in the battle against Red since I only needed 1 turn to fully heal them instead of two. The only drawback is that they are bitter and diminish your friendship with the Pokemon but since you aren't using any Pokemon that evolve that way that shouldn't matter.

A fire type would fit in, Magmar? Or try the wifi boards for a great fire type, get Vulpix or Arcanine.
Ok does ur Machamp have the Ability No Guard? if so, scrap seismic toss for dynamic punch b/c that ability gives 100% accuracy to all of ur moves. But use it with caution as No Guard also gives perfect accuracy to all of ur foe's moves.

My Machamp does have No Guard but it does not know Dynamic punch yet. Its still level 41.Im 2 red shards short to learn Ice punch. If anyone wants to donate them to me tonight thank you and my platinum FC is on my profile and I will take any Pokemon.
