Help with member card

So, what are you asking and why couldn't this go in the Simple Questions thread? I'd say you have plenty of time since the event just started and it lasts until September 13 I believe. If you already woke the boy up you've already done that step.

no, it just means that you have to have done that part, you dont have to have the lunar wing anymore. you only needed to have obtained the lunar wing and then used it on the boy.

I couldn't download the member card today I've already talked to the boy maybe my wifi signal was too weak??? did anyone else have a problem with this??? and i went to the mystery gift via nin wfc (well tired both and wireless)

You must connect to Wi-Fi through Mystery Gift. After connecting to Wi-Fi through Mystery Gift, collect the Member Card's Wonder Card and then go to any Poke Mart and talk to a man in green near the Counter.

You should then get your Member Card.
If not, go obtain the National Dex and then try to look for the Green Man in the Poke Mart.

I had this problem today. First, I started off getting the national dex, and it didn't work, but then I got the lunar wing and used it on the boy, and it worked. They should tell us that you need to do it, if not they're useless.

Jesus Christ, how do you capture this monster? I cut his energy to a hair, threw 20 Ultra Balls and then 30 Timer Balls and dick!!!

Did I miss anything on PKMN Capturing 101?

Probably took me about 12 Ultra Balls to get Giratina, it was harder to stay alive than to capture it.

Normally when I catch Pokemon, get a False Swiper who can do damage (it's a great help, seriously).
I also get someone who can Paralyze or Sleep (I used a Blissey with Thunder Wave).

After getting the HP down to 1 and with Paralyze / Sleep, get a tanker and then proceed to throw balls at the Pokemon.
If you wish, wait until Night Time, so you can throw Dusk Balls.

Oh ya, forgot that making them sleep helps. Don't know if the Duskball will work there however, this is a special area, yes no?

Dusk balls will work there only if it's Night time.
Sleep > Paralyze but Paralyze is more permanent.

But Newmoon Island is a magical area, night time doesn't happen there.


EDIT: Paralyzing it helped to capture it (after exactly 30 Ultra Balls).

Night happens there. Night happens everywhere. If it's past 8PM and before 4AM it's night, plain and simple. Dusk Balls work based on the time AND LOCATION.

Attack it till it's in red, then put it to sleep. Then throw a dusk ball. You should capture it.
