Hello guys,
I am having problems with my computer. When I reset it, there is this medium-sized red thing at the top that says Megatrends, which it didn't say 2 years when I got this computer. My computer is a Compaq Windows XP! There used to be something down below before it even started its process of opening up Windows for the system restore and all of a sudden, it vanished! I need to know how to do this because last December or this January, my Screen Saver stopped functioning properly and it'd NEVER work again. Every time I tried getting it back up, it'll just freeze and then when I click something else, it'll say Not Responding.
Also, I'm having problems with my Java. When I go somewhere online that's affiliated with Java for instance, like if I try to click on the Java chat on the Bulbagarden Forums, in which I can't get into anyway because I'm shunned from the network or the Java chat on Serebii, or it doesn't even have to do with chatting, like when I go onto Yahoo Kids Games, and then try to click Play Now, it keeps shutting out my Internet Browser and I don't know why it's happening and how to prevent it from doing this itself. I talked to 2 people on AIM; one of them being an Op on #SPP and another one being a Forum Mod here, like Istarune and Ketsuban. Istarune wasn't much of a help because she said she's not technical support and Ketsuban said that he doesn't know how to help me to fix this problem. I may have disabled my Java to prevent me from accidentally going somewhere that's suppose to be blocked off, but now the problem has grown worse. Anyone have suggestions for what I can do to fix this? I tried System Restore many times back to the farthest date where it can restore, but it seemed to have little to no effect.
See, I tried going up there clicking on the IRC chat and it just closed out my Internet Browser. It doesn't just do this on DSL, but it also does this on Internet Explorer and AT&T Yahoo as well. I need help fixing this problem because something on here is totally malfunctioning.
