Wahoo! I just got a DS, and with it, Mysterious Dungeon Blue. Isn't that lovely? Anyhoo, I'm a Cyndaquil, and my partner is Treecko. I also have a Magnemite and a Rattata. I've done quite a lot already, but Team Meanies seems to be impossible to take down. Within two turns, they had annihilated me. :(
How do I crush those jerkwads, so I can save Metapod?
 
I'm seriously in love with this game as well! It sounds like you just need to level up a bit more. They're pretty easy to take, I found.
 
Go do some random missions and come back with Revive Seeds. Aside from Medicham (Damn Protect) they're easy. Take out Gengar, then Arbok, then surround Medicham and wait for Protect to end.
 
Gravelrocks and Blast Seeds are you friends. Keep Treecko away from Erkans and watch out for Leers. Also, give your teammate an Oran Berry if they are getting low. Basically, survive and commit as much damage as possible every turn.

They may have a dumb name but their battling is hard to overcome, but not impossible.
 
Not simply give, but make them hold the Oran Berry. They will toss it as required.
 
Bring magnmite and make it use supersonic. Take out gengar for curse first. Just keep trying.

Anywho, what level are your Pokemon right now?
 
It IS bizarre that Ekans is the only unevolved member of the team, which is where the mistake keeps coming from . . .
 
How do I make my team members use certain moves? Usually, they just do whatever they want.
Around what level should my team be?
 
I don't remember what level I was, but under "Team" select the member who's moves you want to change, select "moves". All the moves that are starred are what he or she will use in battle. To turn it off, highlight the move, press a and select "switch". You need to be in a dungeon.
 
It took me 3 times to beat them lol!!!! I had Blue too. On the second time I had just recruited 2 Ledyba and one of them went up to level 10. It's stats were going up all 6. It was amazing but I lost to Team Meanies. You know what that means; bye bye Ledyba!!! :-(
