This will be brief, as I don't want to elaborate too much. The question is: As a starting game, witch FF game do you recommend? 1, 2, or 3? I weight good RPG Elements and good Storyline as a 2, as those are the things I love. Thanks for your help :-D

Are we talking JP I/II/III or US, which actually had IV and VI renamed initially?

If you want storyline, go for IV, if you want a deep job system, go for V, if you want a balance between the two, go for VI. I'm kinda biased toward IV, if my icon is an indicator.

I just finished playing Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection and it is one of the greatest games I have ever played. You get the entire story from the original Final Fantasy IV to the story one year after and then skip all the way 17 years later in The After Years to follow the story when history begins repeating itself. I truly recommend this PSP game if you have one.

FF9 for the PS1. 4 discs, good story, great gameplay, and active time events to further develop the plot.

Final Fantasy 2 had a terrible leveling system, and Final Fantasy 3's job classes weren't worked out well yet.
