First story.

I loved the show. And it's great to see it getting off to a good start. Let's just hope it retains the ratings and AT LEAST lasts until the story is concluded.

I decided to try Heroes last night since it was conveniently on before Aaron Sorkin's new Studio 60 and I've been watching the latter. To be honest, I wasn't interested in Heroes at all at first, but the guy who created it is from the Central Coast of California very near where I live, so he's been getting a lot of press in the local news and as such I've been hearing it talked up.

However, I ended up LOVING the premiere of Heroes. It really was very well done. Definitely added to my little list of TV shows I'll be following this season!

Oy, I need an encore of this and Studio 60 badly. I really wanted to see
both, but I forgot when they came on. Did I miss anything key or essential in either opener?

I'll try to catch them next week so I can see if it's really worth
watching like everyone says.

Scroll down on this page if you're interested in seeing the first episode. They offer the full episode or a two minute summation. Not sure what program it uses to play, but it's split into three parts (Genesis part one, two, and three).

And for anyone interested in the companion online comic: In convenient Flash AND PDF forms. Not integral for the show, but it's a nice companion piece that helps fill in gaps. First issue was drawn by Michael Turner, for those familiar with his work, and provides an origin story for Mohinder Suresh (the Indian taxi driver) and explains why, exactly, he came to New York.
