[Agent Gryphon]

You are an average Pokemon trainer going on with your ordinary lives, training your Pokemon hard. However one day you wake up to discover you have abilities, you have no idea where they have come from or that it would even exist.

As the days go on you start working on this newfound supernatural powers, some use it for good and save lives, some use it for evil and some just don't know what to do with it while others try to find the answers to the big question: Where did the powers come from?.
And along side are Pokemon that seem to advance your powers. Psychic Pokemon advancing telepathic/empathy and other psychic powers. Fire Pokemon enhancing fire abilities and so forth.

But the powers are the least your worries when an hunter is hunting people just like you down and killing you off one by one. That's when you discover you aren't alone, many more have these special gifts and decide to find them and team up and try to escape this hunter who wants you dead!.


Okay I know this sounds alot like Heroes the show but it isn't, well you get abilities and there's a hunter (Not Sylar or that what's his name, the extremely pale bald hunter) but other then that this RP is different. So you start out on a regular Wednesday doing whatever your character does however discovers your ability and from then on start experimenting with it, meet others just like you, hone your ability with your Pokemon, and run from the Hunter.

Also you can be a Hero or a Hunter (Who follows the Hunter's orders, the boss who I control. Nobody dies unless I say so, NPCS are fine to kill however)

-No Godmodding (You can have any kind of powers, but make it that you are immortal and can kill anything. Even Claire, Peter and Sylar in Hereos could be stopped in a way.)
-No Bunnying
-Don't flame/bash people in OOC.

Name: Jessica Mays

Age: 23

Gender: Female

Appearance: Jessica is about 5’5 tall with short shoulder length red hair (Close to orange) and has pale skin. Her eyes are green and a bit round and wide however many find it cute in her. She normally wears light colored shirts and a skirt with a scarf or two draped over her shoulders. She wears black high heels which makes her look a bit taller then she really is, her face is round almost shaped like a heart and her weight is just below average.

History: Jessica was born in the Sinnoh region, Sunnyshore City where she grew up with an ignorant mother and a deadbeat father. She has no idea what happened to her Dad and her mother barely paid attention to her, only gave her enough to feed her and sent her to school.

Quite often back in primary school Jessica was teased a lot because of her rather wide eyes. One day when she was sitting by a tree a couple of bullies starting picking on her however a Larvitar appeared out of nowhere and defended Jessica. She thanked it and thought she would never see it again, however after school Larvitar followed her home and became her first ever Pokemon.

Ever since she has trained it into Tyranitar and caught Jolteon, Jigglypuff, Clefairy, Skitty and Shinx on the way, Tyranitar was always her powerhouse, her big guns and when she needed help after all of her Pokemon were fainted Tyranitar would come out and crush them. Not that it was too powerful and suffered some losses. When Jessica reached eighteen her mother disappeared so she went to University where she met her Professor Price who helped her several times.

After graduating she headed to high school to start teaching English and started this year. However her powers have started to show herself.

Personality: Jessica is known to be quite shy around new people but since becoming a teacher trying to break out of it. She stutters a bit but has a good heart and tries to help anyone. She tends to fall for those who she cannot obtain because they married or something else. However in battle Jessica has a tactic that seems to work in her favor as she is pretty determined in a Pokemon battle.

Powers: Jessica starts sending out red electricity out of her hands, it seems to be more powerful then a regular lightening bolt, and if Jolteon and Shinx were to combine thunderbolt it would be practically deadly.

Name: Hunter Jay

Age: 40

Gender: Male

Appearance: Hunter is about 5’9 tall and looks about forty for sure as he has wrinkles across his face. He has pale skin and a bald head with dull gray eyes that seem to have no life inside of them. He wears a long black coat underneath a black shirt and jeans where he hides a gun that he uses to shoot the people with ability.

History: Jay has had a tough childhood as his father abused him and his mother had died while giving birth to him. When his father was mysteriously killed Jay jumped from foster home to foster home until he was eighteen. His school years was painful as he was bullied a lot for having no hair and he was always a loner acting cold and vicious to people, he seem to show no respect for any woman and believed they should do what they are told making him quite sexist.

He discovered that people with powers were possible and many had discovered their abilities or had them for a long time, believing they are tools of the devil he has organized a group of hunters to capture them and kill them. His hate of people with ability comes from his foster mother who had killed his entire foster family with a explosion, it was an accident but Jay did not know that and swore all people with abilities would die.

Personality: Jay, or as he wants to be known The Hunter is a cold hearted person who doesn’t really care about anyone and believes his Pokemon are tools of war and refuses to lose. If he doesn’t agree with something then he believes his opinion is a fact, which is why he hunts down people with abilities thinking something is wrong with them.

Name: Colin Oakley

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: He has light brown, wavy hair that reaches to his shoulders, and his fringe reaches to the top of his bottom eyelids. He has amber eyes that have a strange, swirling pattern in them. He's very tall, at 6ft 5", just an inch taller than his twin sister. He weighs roughly 110 lbs, which is five lbs more than his twin sister. When in cold weather, he wears a dark orange scarf, a black duffel coat, baggy black tracksuit bottoms, orange boots and an orange ski cap. When in warm weather, he wears a long-sleeved orange shirt, a pair of black jeans, a pair of orange sandals and dark orange-tinted sunglasses.

History: Colin was born to Holly (née Wattley) and Hektor Oakley, along with a twin who was named Clare. Colin and Clare were unlike normal siblings, as they never fought once with each other, shouting and arguing, but they did irritate each other in their own little ways. They were born and raised in Goldenrod City, where Holly worked in the flower shop, where it was very popular, whilst Hektor worked as a Pokémon Doctor, and also was a DJ in the Goldenrod Radio Tower.

Holly was adamant that Colin trained with Grass-types, although Colin was not interested in them, and Holly punished him and his sister, who also did not like them. Hektor was not around enough to know that Holly was mistreating the twins, and whenever Colin and Clare tried to tell him, Holly would cover up for herself, irritating the twins a lot. All Colin had was a little Porygon, which he had won at the Game Corner, because he was actually quite good at Voltorb Flip, and never lost a game once he had got the hang of it.

Clare had found a Piplup egg, which was hatched, and one day, they got their own back on their mother, and left her, setting off on their adventures together. They swiped through the Johto and Kanto Gyms, and have defeated the Indigo Plateau twice, once because of Johto, and once because of Kanto. This was why they were chosen for the Jewel Tournament.

Personality: Colin makes decisions on the basis of personal values, is appreciative and accepting of people - enjoying company and seeking harmony, assesses the impact of decisions on others, being sympathetic or compassionate and takes a personal approach to things. Colin seeks stable, harmonious relationships, tends to adapt to the environment, taking on board those values that are held as important by friends and family, or society as a whole, expresses the appreciation that is felt towards others, tends to consider others' feelings before his own and be sensitive to praise and criticism, and seek to conform to others' reasonable expectations. The potential ways in which Colin can irritate others include talking too much, assuming he knows the needs of others - in trying to help them develop insight, Colin can appear bossy and avoiding conflict and not giving criticism when it is needed. He takes criticism personally and focuses so much on interpersonal issues that cost and other impersonal considerations are not adequately addressed. His favourite colour is orange, and his favourite Pokémon type is Normal.

Nickname: Techno
Gender: Genderless, but Colin refers to him as Male
Bio: Techno was received by Colin from the Game Corner, since Colin was so good at the games there. Techno has developed to be exactly like Colin in every personality trait, and has even picked up some human speech. However, sometimes Techno can become extremely hyper, and has been known to flicker in and out of sight sometimes. Techno is Colin's best partner and friend.

Swellow
Nickname: Amaterasu
Gender: Female
Bio: Amaterasu was found as a Taillow when Techno accidentally fell out of the air and squashed the poor thing flat. Colin returned the Taillow to health, and returned her back to her home, but she was adamant in following Colin and Techno. Techno showed Colin that she wanted to come with them, and Colin agreed. Amaterasu is an extremely sweet and kind Swellow, but at the same time, sort of proud, although she only slips into her pride once in a while. She's graceful and ladylike, and expects to be treated like so. She acts as an overhead scout, surveying the area and then reporting back to her team. When she's feeling sad about something, she suddenly turns outrageously fierce, and will shut herself off, even from her bestest of friends. Forgiving, though, she will forgive anything, even if it was badly terrifying or evil or whatever.

Furret
Nickname: Silk
Gender: Female
Bio: Silk was found as a Sentret when Amaterasu was scouting ahead through the skies, and Silk was standing on her tail, looking for something. Amaterasu led Silk to the team, and Colin noticed that she had lost her family, and was close to despair. Colin tried to comfort Silk, but she kept attacking the team, and Colin was forced to capture her. Silk is a slightly crazy and hyper Furret, and loves zooming around the place. However, she holds grudges to easily, and that is her flaw.

Wartortle
Nickname: Kamei
Gender: Male
Bio: One day, whilst Colin was at the Lake of Rage, Silk noticed that there was an egg at the bottom of the lake, and dived down and retrieved the egg. Silk was very protective of it, and until it hatched, never let it out of her sight. Kamei is a very calm, collected Wartortle, who hardly ever lets his emotions completely take over. He is peaceful, and very brave. He will risk anything, as long as he does not put his teammates in danger. His flaw is his personal loyalty - to save his friends, he would give up the world, because he's so trusting towards those who he is very good friends with. Strangers, he will practically ignore and 'freeze out'.

Rapidash
Nickname: Zippy
Gender: Male
Bio: Kamei saw Zippy as a Ponyta, and, predictably, challenged him to a fight, which he lost. When the Ponyta lost, Colin captured him, and trained him. Colin mainly used Zippy for transport. Zippy is a competitive soul, and will chase anything in the hopes of chasing it. Zippy never gives in, and is very brave. He also thinks of Amaterasu as his little sister, and is very protective of her.

Gardevoir
Nickname: Arcana
Gender: Female
Bio: Zippy found Arcana as a little Ralts, and rescued her from a gang of poachers. In turn, Arcana never left Zippy, and so Colin had to accept her into the team. Arcana is a sensitive and imaginative being, and often foresees the consequences of actions. She is very susceptible to criticism and will cry if judged too harshly.

Powers: Telepathy, Forcefield Projection and Superhuman Agility/Acrobatics

[Oblivion]

Name: Zaar
Age: 25
Gender: Male

Appearance: Is as skinny as a twig, with extremely pale skin. Has blood-red eyes, the left of which having a gruesome scar that is covered by his unkempt raven-dark hair. Wears a pitch-black robe, with a matching hood. His eyes tend to glow when he's enraged

History: Zaar once lived in Ecruteak, having an odd interest in dark and sinister Pokemon, and therefore was shunned by everyone, including his own parents and siblings. So, he ran away to Saffron City at the age of 13, hearing rumors of the legendary Pokemon Mew.

When he finally caught the creature, a deep, booming voice called out to him from the skies.

"I have been watching you. You have the potential to become a servant of darkness, and perhaps more. Raise it to the air, so I may show you my power!"

Zaar obliged, and in an instant, Mew was transformed into a creature of darkness. After that incident, Zaar felt that something deep inside of him had been awakened, and formed a cult worshiping this king of darkness.

At the age of 17, Zaar recieved his final test. His master called out to him from the sky once again...

"It is time for your final test. Are you prepared?"

Zaar fell to his knees. He could not imagine that his final test would come so soon...

"Yes...give your power to me, so we may rule this world as one!!" Zaar said.

"FOOL!!" his master roared.

"Power is a thing earned, not given! I have one last test for you.

"To prove your worth, you must survive the very thing that no one to this day has conquered."

The sky shook, and a bolt of lightning was shot from the sky, and landed directly on Zaar's left eye, giving him his scar. He then fell to the ground, motionless, and dead.

Or so you think...after months of laying at that exact spot, he rose again. After nearly killing someone who has always known him, (more on that with the next character) he was given power, but no one knows exactly what that power was.

He then found that others were given powers. Seeing them as obstacles in his path of conquest, he joins the ranks of the Hunters. His respect toward the other Hunters, and his loyalty toward the boss, is absolute zero. He doesn't care what happens to the organization.

Personality: Zaar's personality is twofold. Nomrally, he's cold, remorseless, and thinks that everyone, with no exceptions, is inherently underneath him, and treats them as such. However, either in the heat of battle or when his temper is flared, Zaar grows insane, going on a psychopathic, mass-murdering rampage, howling with laughter as the blood of his foes flow around him.

Nickname: Raaz (Pronoucned Rahz)

No one knows how Zaar got his hands on this Pokemon, nor why it has an uncanny resemblance to the one it serves. They do know that this Pokemon is forced into service, but hates Zaar intensely.

Sharpedo, Shiftry, Houndoom, Honchkrow, and Weavile
Nicknames: None

These Pokemon were perfectly normal, but, once again, no one knows how they reached their present state. They serve Zaar without question.

Side: Hunter, and is the Boss's right hand man.

I know I quited team pride, But I would like to try this Role-Play:

Name: Ardos

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Appearance: Wears a blue cloak, that comes from his shoulders to his feet, with black strips. has white skin, and has black gloves, and blue sunglasses.

History: He has very little recall as of what happened to him in the past, but he can remember enough to tell you why he can't remember very much, and that is because he nearly died from drowning under a tsunami,but was revived by an gaurdian angel. The only other recalls he has of the past, is that his pokemon all were released when he drowned, and his hometown.

Personality: Very short minded, and will recall parts of things from his past whenever he hears a wave. If you tell him to help, he will, but beware of him forgeting what he was doing, and teleporting back to his hometown. If he asks for help, he would end up doing the same thing as if he was asked for help, hence why he built a small house on the exact place his house was, as others say.

Pokemon: Vaporeon, Shiny Blastoise, and a Castform

Well I don't think it would be the best idea. The only reason I had wanted to co-own my own version of this RP is to bring about its creation. I have a really terrible understanding of the show, as my friend just got done showing me episodes 1-11 last weekend. Your version seems rather foolproof, however. Mine was meant to be focused more around the canon of the show and The Company, then with Pokemon thrown in for the hell of it.

History: Xanthe is from Mossdeep City in the Hoenn region.She is the older sister of the gym leaders; Tate and Liza.Originally,Xanthe was intended to be the gym leader,but she left to travel the pokemon world with her Xatu and participate in pokemon contests and the pokeathlon.Xanthe just wanted to find something that meant working with her pokemon as a team that didn't involve battling.

Personality: Xanthe is calm,cool and collected.She does not feel the need to speak,but instead uses telepathy.Look up calm in the dictionary and you'll find a picture of Xanthe and her Xatu meditating.Xanthe prefers not to battle,although she is an incredibly strong pokemon trainer.Instead,Xanthe sees pokemon as humans and not just battling machines and life for pokemon shouldn't just revolve around battling.Xanthe feels sometimes it's just best to sit back,relax,and watch life go by.

Ah, I see now. I was probably just focusing on the three words: "psychic, advancing and powers."

But when you say humans can use their powers better with a Pokemon that matches it, does that mean the flipside can be achieved. I.E. can a human with a power that his Pokemon has teach the Pokemon how to better utilize the power, or alter the Pokemon's understanding of said power?

Amber- Hm didn't think of that way, well Pokemon know how to use their attacks while the humans are just learning about their abilities (Not all abilities would able to work with Pokemon though, like able to control machines or morph into things), but their powers could be strong if they were to combine attacks, like fire thrown from the person combined with Fire Blast from the Pokemon perhaps

What I was thinking though was that my character who has telekinesis (since I already threw that into the plan for my own Heroes RP before I took a look at Buggabo's) had the idea to use it in a way that reinforces the movement of his body. Therefore, it essentially enhances his speed/strength the more he learns to command his telekinesis.

Meanwhile, his Gallade was born with telekinesis and perfectly understands it. However, he picks up Jordan's method of using the telekinesis from watching him try to learn with it. Therefore, Gallade's speed and power are enhanced, though not too considerably, as a Kirlia's command of special abilities increases only slightly during evolution into Gallade.
