Who are your heroes? Fictional or real life, it doesn't matter! But let's just hope that they isn't anything too disturbing, like... Hagrid. You know what? Never mind - whatever floats your boat.

Let's just clarify the term 'hero', here though. Someone you look up to, revere, admire or just adore.

This may be controversial, but hear me out, Vladimir Lenin. He was a charismatic leader, and although I tend to disagree with the various Soviet leaders that followed, Lenin had the workers' best interests in mind.
His goatee was pretty badass-looking, and he actually DID NOT WANT the cult of personality that he was posthumously given. He survived two assassination attempts, helped to get his country into a more modern era as quickly as possible (Russia was way behind. They had the feudal system until a few years before Lenin was even born! The rest of Europe was done with that centuries prior.) He tried to bring true democracy to the Soviet Union in the final years of his life, but his health was declining, and the power struggle following his death ended up screwing that up.

Martin Luther King Jr. is somebody else I admire. Peaceful protests, wanting all races to live together harmoniously (this is a plus because I'm seeking an interracial relationship, but that besides the point). He was willing to do the right thing, even if he was going to get arrested for it. His "I Have A Dream" speech was really powerful.

Steve Irwin is another. Conservation is important for species great and small, ugly and cute, furry or scaly, fish or bird, etc. I remember being so shocked after he was killed by a stingray. (and I'm pretty sure there is some sort of conspiracy connecting Steve Irwin's death to the somewhat lack of quality shows on Animal Planet). He was willing to risk his life to save an animal in need.

My heroes are my parents. They have done so much to provide a wonderful life for me. They are the ones who have encouraged me that I can do so much with my talents and they have been there every step of the way. My grandmother is also my hero. She may not be my biological grandmother, but I consider her to be my grandmother just as much, regardless. She was there for my mom when she needed a mother-figure most when her biological mother passed away when she was 11. She was there for me, too. I enjoyed spending a lot of time with her and she is always there for me. She has done so much to keep our family together and she means the world to me. I love her and look up to her as a strong woman who was always there for those she loved.

I come from a very strong family of remarkable individuals, so I should really be calling out their names. But most prominent in terms of inspiration is Daisy Ridley, the actress and goddess.

I'm not sure what makes me so crazy about her, or why she makes me feel so good in myself or pushes me forward to accomplish my career as an actor, but she does all of these things. If I end up half as wonderful as her one day, I'd be satisfied and wholly undeserving. She cheers me ceaselessly and I aspire to be like her someday in any way that I possibly can, and I am gratified to share things in common with her. She's brilliant and beautiful, and I'd probably eat glass just to sit at the same table as her. She also pushed me to pursue acting in the first place and furthered my goals to enhance my singing and exercises - sort of pulling forth the eventual revelation and letting me explore it before I waste time trying to reach for anything else. So yes. I adore her.

John Boyega + Adam Driver, too. That holy trinity really opened that doorway for me, and they're such awesome guys. Intelligent, true to themselves and funny in the best of ways. And talented? They're blindingly good.

Then of course it's my ___, who is literally the strongest person I know. And my ___, because he's one of life's superstars.

as a marxist (but not a leninist) i agree. lenin kicked ass, even if the soviet union wasnt great and his attempt at building a socialist state mostly failed
