Mmyep~ another newbie to add to the ranks! A bulba newb, that is - I've been in with pokemon for over 15 years now! :3 Anyway, the name's Bay, although I'll also respond to Bayhound, Bayr, derp, etc etc. Basically, as long as I realize you're talking to me, I'll respond in some way ahaha. And yes, I did mean to type herring up there. I do realize it is a fish, not a greeting. But I've got to slip in my odd little quirks from the very beginning, right?
I've used Bulbapedia for a long, long time, and now that I finally have an internet connection reliable enough to actually want to establish a wireless connection with my DS [yes, I still have that old, clunky silver original and have failed to upgrade despite all the new shiny ones], I decided it's high time to join the forum! Admittedly, I was only looking to join to try and understand the GTS more and get a better grasp on what pokemon I should be raising as far as trading fodder goes, but I wouldn't mind trying to wedge myself into a new community as well. Oh, and the DW... such a neat feature! I'm in love with it despite being oh-so-late to the party, but better late than never, eh? >w>
I started out in pokemon with Silver as a kid [the 2nd gen is still my favorite ;3] and have played every generation of games since, having even went back later down the road to experience the first generation. I currently own Red, Gold, Sapphire, Emerald, LG, Diamond, Platinum, SS, W, W2, Pinball R&S, all Ranger games, PMD: Blue/Darkness/Sky, Pokepark Wii, Colosseum, and Snap. You never realize how many you have until you have to type it all up. xD; I've also owned Yellow, Hey You, Pikachu!, and Pokemon Puzzle League, but due to unfortunate events no longer have them. Crystal is the one game I've never played as far as the old handhelds go; I didn't hear about it as a kid! D: I've wanted to try Dash, I'm utterly unsure about Conquest, and the rest... we shall see! I'm finally going to cave in and get a new DS soon, however, since X & Y will be 3DS exclusive. Huzzah! Oh, and I also still collect the cards from the TCG, heh.
A few of my favorite pokemon areeee~ Nidorino [<3], Hoppip, Snubbull, Arbok, Raikou, Ivysaur, Mightyena, Manectric, Luxray, Arcanine, Ursaring, Rampardos, Dragonite, and Latios. Actually, that may be most of them! Some of my hobbies include volunteering at animal shelters, other video games, art, outdoor activities, discovering new music, reading, riding four-wheelers, and blah blah I don't need to say everything about myself.
