Anyways, I live in the UK and I have been a pokefan for years, my best pokemon moment was when I used hacks to get 50 Jirachis (I was young and stupid back then, I don't cheat now) and I traded them all out to my friends and told them to trade to their friends etc, the further one has gotten is to Korea!
My original trainer name back then was "Kimmy", so if you have a Jirachi with OT of Kimmy then it's mine! (One appeared in an issue of UK's Nintendo Official Magazine, a user sent a message into them asking why their Jirachi's original trainer name was "Kimmy" and not their own!)
I'm a games programmer also, so I study pokemon from a design point of view a lot.
