See here's the thing. The've had gods in Pokémon since the second gen (the Birds were never stated to be anything divine in the games). Arceus is merely a creator. Nothing we haven't seen before.

I'm really tired of this "it created everything so it must be all-powerful" or "Game Freak can't top God" thinking. It's boring, tiresome, and above all misplaced.
