I finally decided to make an account here. I'm a Canuck. I've been a longtime fan of the pokemon franchise, and Nintendo in general. It all started with the pokemon anime when I was about 4 yrs old. And I started collecting the cards not too long after. My parents were pretty awesome about my love of pokemon. They'd tape episodes of the anime for my sister and I, when we weren't home.

Sadly, I wasn't allowed video games until a certain age (about 9 yrs old). So my very first game was Sapphire version. And I absolutely loved it. I did get a chance to play Blue and Silver, since my friend let me use his games though. I'm a fairly avid gamer now, so I almost never miss out on a main series title.

Anyways, I think each generation has something special to offer. I've never been disappointed by any of them. :)

hi there, welcome to BMGf :)

Im a pretty avid Pokemon gamer myself. My first game was Silver and since then I've played at least one game in every generation, I now own pretty much all of them now. Ive liked certain things from each generation too, they all add something great to the series and all an interesting collection of Pokemon and other characters making them enjoyable as well. They definately dont disappoint. I hope you have a great time here, and if you need any help, feel free to ask any of the staff for help anytime and be sure to look at the forum rules before posting around.

Happy foruming :)

Hiya! Aw, that's so nice. =] I loved my Hoenn games! I haven't gotten the chance to play the very first games and metal generation, but I want to sometime. It makes me wonder a little about what's going to be so different in those games compared to the newer ones. Or even the RSE and FireRed/LeafGreen games. ._.
And may I ask what a Canuck is? XD

Welcome to the Forums, sohma-sohma! It's neat to see someone else whose first game was Sapphire (mine was technically Yellow, but I tend to think of Sapphire as my first anyway).

Have fun, and post wisely!

I challenge you to a battle, challenger! Welcome to Bulba, Canuck. :3 A lot of us started with the anime - myself included - so that's pretty cool that you did too. Do you still watch it? I'm glad to hear your mom was so supportive of your love for the series though, mine was pretty cool with it as well. Have a wonderful time and see you around~

You could play them on an emulator. And there's some apps for android that let you play retro games. I had an app that let me play Pokemon Crystal. :) A Canuck is slang for a Canadian. Cuz I'm from Canada. It's kinda derogatory, but I like the term. ^^;

I got to play a little bit of my friend's yellow game. I kinda wish they made an updated version of yellow, just because it's my favourite colour. ^^;

Have fun, and post wisely!

I'll try! D: Haha. ;D

Hey welcome to the forums! You're going to love it here!

Thanks. I hope so. ^_^

Challenge accepted! Lol. No, I don't watch the anime anymore. I've been trying to collect it though, mostly the old stuff. But I do like getting the movie mangas. See you around! :)

Welcome, have a lot of fun here, and feel free to message me anytime!! :3

Thank you for the offer :)
