So I know that the english version is not out yet but for me and others who have played the japanese version...

Was it everything you expected it to be?

Were you disappointed in the game?

Basically just what were your thoughts on it?

Ps: I didnt see a thread like this but if there is one please feel free to lock this

Ok now on topic:

I really have enjoyed playing in Jhoto again i havent completed the game but have heard the pokeradar was not in this game which is a disappointment to me seeing my jhoto pokemon again is fun though :)

I really like the system of the pokemon following but like many others i wish that we could choose a pokemon in our party not neccessarily the first

Q 1: Yes, and more.
Q 2: Not really.
Q 3: I think it was a great remake of the original GSC, and the new features added to the fun.

Btw, the Official Nintendo Magazine rated the game 94% with the following points:

GOOD:
The biggest pokémon game yet.
Pokéwalker is a neat addition.
Heaps of new features.
Wi-Fi battling makes it endless.

BAD:
Basic engine remains unchanged.

Every aspect of this game is just awesome

The only bad thing is the much higher encounter rate (Its much more than the original G/S/C and even higher then D/P/Pt)
but oh well I dont care ;P

I have a question: In HG/SS, how do you evolve pokemon such as Feebas, Nosepass, Eevee, ect? The pokemon that evolve with beauty stats, or specific locations.

This can go in the general HGSS questions topic, but anyways.

Location ones require you trade it to DPPt I'm pretty sure. To be honest, I'm not sure on feebas.

Blue's sister and the Haircut brothers increase Beauty when they give their respective services to your Pokemon. You can use them to evolve Feebas. And yes, location based evolutions require a trade to DPPt.

A brilliant game, 99% faithful to the originals and absolutely gorgeous to look at. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was the lack of Stat Trainers, and how loads of Johto trainers didn't have Johto pokemon. Otherwise, its great. 95%.
