I can't find if this has been asked before, but if so please redirect me and close this thread, but I have been listening to the HGSS music and to me the whole soundtrack seems like its mostly upbeat and happyish or something.
I kinda hoped Route 1 music would sound better, but its still good. Route 29, I thought lost something as it seemed to happyish. I liked the Kanto Trainer Battle theme, although I hoped it would have had a guitar in it like the anime version which I loved at the time.
Goldenrod music, I found a little different than I hoped and the bike music I thought sounded quite close to the anime version IMO. Route 201 music sounded good though. Elms lab music gives me the feeling you should start dancing to it or something, its cheery.
Overall I found the music to be a bit different than I hoped, but I can't say I dislike the music overall. Anyone else got an opinion on the music?
