I'm actually a completely new player. In fact I don't even deserve that name, because I'm just about to buy a Pokemon game :)
I hope that I can fit in here just fine regardless!

If you're new to Pokemon then you're going to have a blast. There's so much to do in the games and so many Pokemon to collect.. let us know how it goes. And check out our many Pokemon boards when you can as well! Lots to discuss there. Have fun, okay?

Actually I'm about to purchase my first game :) Which is one of the reasons why I'm here. Since I don't own a 3DS yet (and won't for another couple months) I can't really play the X/Y versions. I don't want to wait though, and I do own a DS Lite, so I could buy either Black or White. Should I try to get something even older though?
