Hello! :)

My name is Peter and I've been a Pokemon fan since I was little. I've played all the Pokemon generations except the newest one, and I'm planning to buy a 3DS XL and Pokemon X or Y (haven't decided which one yet) quite soon. I can't wait! :D I've also been watching the anime for a long time, ever since they started airing it here where I live. And I'm enjoying the new XY series, it seems to me that there's an increase in quality :)

I've been using Bulbapedia for quite a while, and I've only recently found out that there's a forum. I saw some interesting discussions, so I thought I'd join. Nice to meet you all!

As for version to choose, Im unsure what's best. I like some version exclusives of Y but Ive played X mostly for Xerneas. Check out the X/Y anime and game's sections if you'd like, there's lots to discuss!

Hello Peter, welcome to BMGF! I have both of the games, and I'd honestly recommend X. Though I haven't experienced a whole lot of Y yet, this is because I've never really found a reason to. The GTS, Wonder Trade as well as Friend Safari's more or less eliminate the need for having both versions (as I came to realize too late, I guess xD). So ultimately, regardless of which ones you pick, chances are you'll have several opportunities to get other version exclusives.

At any case, I'd like to welcome you to BMGF, the forums where it's so open and friendly here, and a lot of the members are really easygoing, and discussions are quite rampant here, so I do encourage you to jump in to any discussion you find interesting. o:
 
Come to the Pokemon X side. <3; But they're both amazing, I'll admit haha. I'm hoping to get Y whenever I can since I've been dying to play through the main story again but don't want to start a new file. You're definitely going to enjoy conversing with our wonderful Pokemon fans here so a very big welcome to BMGf, Peter!

It's a difficult decision, because I like Xerneas, and I like Y's Mega Mewtwo :D I've also heard that there are slight differences in the storyline. But I still have some time to make the decision :)
