Hi i am new here.

I have a Q too

I am wonder what is Damage by roll called on a Herdier is?

How can i stop it?

I have Pokemon black and white and White v2 for my nds.

Hey there! Basically, when you're talking about damage rolls (I am assuming you are talking about this), you're talking about the probability of inflicting either the minimum or the maximum amount of damage on a certain Pokemon. Let's go through this with an example:

252+ Atk Bisharp Low Kick (100 BP) vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Abomasnow: 294-348 (76.76 - 90.86%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Your minimum damage roll is 76.76%. This is the least amount of damage that you could do, if you were a Bisharp and you used Low Kick on an Abomasnow. The maximum amount of damage that you could do is 90.86%. Keep in mind that the damage roll, as indicated, could fall anywhere in-between those two values, but it would (usually) have the least/maximum amount of values indicated.

Thank you. Is there any way to stop it or not?

Hi, welcome to BMGf, if you have any more Pokemon gameplay questions, it's best to ask in the Simple Questions/Simple Answers thread corresponding to the game you're playing located in the Pokemon Video Games section.

Do you mean is there any way to stop the amount of damage a Pokemon gets when it is hit? I do not think that is possible.

Unfortunately not. ^^; You see, when concerning damage rolls, they're just numbers generated from various factors, such as the offensive and defensive stats of your Pokemon, they factor in whether or not reflect/light screen is up and they factor whether or not you or your opponent get a critical hit, and even weather multipliers are added into damage rolls. Basically, the ultimatum behind damage rolls is "how much damage your pokemon takes when it is attacked", and therefore, it can't really be "stopped" per se, since it is just a calculation.
