My name is Royi, I played the original US Red/Blue back when I was a kid, just picked up a 3DS for the holidays as a present to myself and figured why not start this Pokemon thing again (I got X). I'm thinking of getting my son started perhaps as well, he's in 1st grade.
Immediately hooked and the suppressed knowledge is all coming back to me. There are quite a lot of new things though since the originals, but I really enjoy this game.
I really enjoy the wonder trade. Besides all the Caterpies and Weedles, I spent maybe 2 hours last night just trading back and forth. I'm hoping to get a Squirtle or a Dratini.
Anywho, look forward to learning more about Pokemon again, I've missed quite a bit. My goal is getting Articuno and a Dragonite to match my two favorite Pokemon from Red/Blue.
