Hi, I'm Radiohead. Radiohead are a band. Radiohead kick ass. You probably don't know them because, well, they're called hipsters for a reason, and you're on a Pokémon forum. 'Nuff said. Anyways, my favorite director is David Lynch, my favorite band (second to Radiohead) are Guided by Voices and my favorite author is Marcel Proust. Again, I don't expect you to know any of these guys for reasons made obvious. Well, I've been lurking for a while, and let's just say you guys make me feel like an alpha male. ;)

Wait, and I missing something? Who hasn't heard of Radiohead? Last I checked they were pretty well established in the music scene, Even back in middle school I remember there being kids who liked them (one of whom actually introduced me to them), so since when did they supposedly fade into obscurity?

and seriously, lose the superiority complex. Nobody's impressed that it takes entering a forum full of geeks for you to feel masculine. Then again, as I'm assuming you either fall into the "hipster" category or likely fancy yourself as one, I'm not the least bit surprised.

I'd say welcome, but with your attitude I'm not sure if anyone here would really want you to stay. :dodgy:

I was gonna name myself after something more obscure, but I wanted to see how mainstream I could go before you guys pick up.

Maybe you should go join a forum with more sophisticated people such as yourself. I mean, it's not like you joined a Pokemon forum just because acting snobby to nerds is the only way to retain the last remaining shreds of your masculinity since If you acted like this in person you'd get your ass kicked. Right?

I'm pretty sure if you live in the USA there is a pretty good chance you heard of Radiohead, so just because we're on a forum that is dedicated to Pokemon means nothing.

Hmm... Nope, Radiohead are still the 2nd most listened to band on there, with 110,407 listeners altogether.
Don't call them 'hipsters'. Please. And don't assume that, because we are members of a Pokemon forum, that we would not have heard of them. They also happen to be my favourite band. So clearly they aren't as unheard of as you would like to believe.
We make you feel like an Alpha Male, eh? Are you trying to give us all an inferiority complex? If you like, you could always find others who are at your level. You don't need to make us feel bad.
