Edit: asking to be a mod is the best way to not get the spot as one. Also, you can't come to some forums for the first time wanting to be a mod right away. o_O; You need some experience for that.
 
I own a site and mod five other so you can say I have some.But back on topic that's my other saying.

That's totally lame if you just ask. Geeez, don't you think about these things? Every mod here had to work their way up, or bug Arcy enough until he went "Oh just sticky it yourself"
