longtime fan of the pokemon storyline and gameplay since Blue/Red days. I don't use cheats (action replay, gameshark, etc).
Quick question.. trying to get a Mamoswine with Hail. The pedia shows it learns it at lvl 25, but the evolution line from Swinub to Piloswine starts at lvl 33 then Mamoswine at lvl 34 (10 levels after Hail). Looks like it can only be done using TM07. I bred stock with Ancient Power (and Earthquake) using Dunsparce... guess I'll have to use the TM on a male of the line and fold it back in for another generation. Any other suggestions?
I guess an underlying question comes down to: Why show levels of learning moves when those levels are not reachable? If it is done to support cheats, perhaps they can be grayed to make that distinction easily notable. Is this true? What do you think?
