I haven't written anything substantial for a while... and I'm writing as I think here, so we'll see what happens! If you like, we'll keep going... never wrote on Pokemon before... well here we go!
Hidden Meaning - It's Human Nature
Beginning, with an ending...
The harsh sun beat down on the broken battlefield. What was once a pristine plateau had been shattered into a plethora of jutting rock formation and irregular ditches. Two trainer stood opposite each other in this war of wits, both sweating, from the heat, as well as the intense fervor to settle the score which had riddled them for the last year. To both, such a timescale seemed ridiculous: it felt like just yesterday they had met for the first time, fire raging in their eyes, brighter than even the searing embers of a Moltres' tail. But this battle was not to be simply settled by fervourous emotion. Weavile dragged his own battered body to some hand-me-down fighting pose. The stance was groggy, and the battle seemed but over...
On the other hand, Foretress' impenetrable shell glistened in the sun, blinding any onlookers, which, of course, there were not. This was to be a private affair, a wholly intimate one, an entalgement of unbridled, uncontrollable passion, which no mere mortal device could hope to sever. Fury reached the opponents' hearts, crossing the distance between them. However, this was a distance dictated by the might of their Pokemon, rather than the scathing exchanges of feeling which had become second nature to both of these young trainers. Foretress began its' rotation, each becoming quicker, building momentum until there was little more to be seen than a glistening blur. Suddenly the mesmeric sphere burst into life, making its way through the wild patterns of earth, smashing rocks apart, with such incredible force, its' pace was not slowed in the slightest. As its intended target grew closer, moments became hours, tension rising to a fever pitch. In the last possible oppourtunity, Weavile leapt into the air, sending Foretress crashing into the ground. Weavile launched a counter attack, striking with an Ice Punch of such intensity, the ground itself froze over, and the air became decorated with shining snowflakes.
Whilst an epic battle came to a climax, an entirely new venture was beginning. One which would not shape the world, nor one which would meet some great prophecy or bring any particular hope to the world. This is a story about people, defined by people, told by people. But perhaps Pokemon will help us truly understand people...
Oooooh....
Not sure where I'm going with this, but hey! Give me comments and criticism, and if overall, the feedback is positive, I'll treat ya with some more... but first I need to figure out the storyline!
