Not really "hidden" as such, but involves Solrock/Lunatone, which aren't found in the Alola Pokedex. The video starts this event by hacking the required Pokemon into the game, but it's fairly interesting.

Well...That was weird, but this does seem to hint at something. The way he says star pulses does make me think of the rumored Pokemon Stars. Whatever it is, it is strange.

Not "aliens" like Cleffa or Solrock which are only rumored to come from space.

Not "aliens" like mutated space viruses.

Not "aliens" like extradimensional Pokémon.

Actual intelligent alien civilizations.

I actually think this is just SM's twist on the usual "ghost" phenomenon, since the demo already took the lead with a literal ghost character. Already done ghosts? Do aliens.

I think it would be an awesome twist if they Pokemon world actually made contact with alien civilizations (sorta like Mass Effect) and you could explore an alien planet with alien Pokemon. Although I guess they'd have to create more alien-like Pokemon since we don't have anywhere near enough.

Maybe that's just wishful thinking though.

Also is it just me or is this the first game where they've talked about Starmie potentially coming from space? There's even an npc who says his Starmie lights up at the sky or something like it's sending signals.

Japanese Red/Green: "This Pokémon has a geometric body. Because of its body, the locals suspect that it is an alien creature."

Also referenced in several other entries. NPC dialogue? I guess this is the first time.

I think he is referencing the old guys who give you O-Powers in ORAS. They're a group of "wonderful men" who have otherworldly powers (the star pulses), and Solrock and Lunatone are both native to Hoenn.
