How did you get into Higurashi?

My answer: a certain fanmade PMD2 vid on Youtube with the song "Nageki no Mori". Funny, isn't it?

I've actually been debating whether do get an anime box set, or a season of CSI this X-mas. If I do get an anime box set, it'd probably be this series because I heard it was really good.

By far one of my favorite anime series. I've never heard/read a plot like this before, it's just bizarre. xD I first got into it like May 2007 when my friend was telling me about it (and how i got her into that series because of favoriting this Azumanga Daioh x Higurashi Parody OP) and so when I watched it... I WAS ADDICTED!

My favorite male character is Keiichi Maebara and favorite female is Rika Furude. ^^ I also love them together. KeiRika FTW!

I gotta continue playing the Onikakushi-hen game...^^;;
