Hilbert...oh and Hilda

No doubt people are still wondering where Hilbert went to setch for his friend. Many speculated he would make anapperance in BW2. But maybe, this is it, this will be Hilbert's return. Maybe Hilbert will be the new Red. Or wannabe Red depending how much you're obsessed with Red. Think about it. No one knows where Hilbert is? A different region? It could be this one. You couldn't battle Red until 1 generation later, in a different region. Hilbert could do this. People theorize a connection to this region and Unova. Maybe this region will be like Johto, where you visit Unova. I know I shouldn't be jumping the shark but COME ON Unova has planes, trains, automobiles ships. Even if there isn't a visit to Unova on a system as powerful as the 3ds, I think Hilbert really should return to put an end to the N saga. Perhaps towards post game they'll be dialouge such as "you remind me or a someone...that look in your eyes...." or "Sigh....I'm so lonely, separated from my pokémon while they are in the daycare, it kind of reminds me of that boy I met, looking for his friend", you know slight forshadowing Hilbert has been in the region. And then, in some random cave/mountain/forest, perhaps we'll finally find Hilbert and be able to battle him like Red and Steven.
Now to recap, these are the reasons I think it could be true

Similarities to Red, such as dissapeaeing after the leauge, going to a different region that's introduced next generation (technichlly Mt. Silver is between Kanto and Johto but the map says Johto).
This region is likely connected in some way to Unova like Johto and Kanto.
Hilbert's story hasn't been fully resolved.
The way people talk about him in BW2 is as if he's some legendary hero, the way people refrence Red.
And finally, Hilbert (and Hilda I guess because I just noticed this might be sexist) had no apperance in BW2, which is kinda weird.


And just for the funs if (s)he is battleable.

That seems like a better idea many thought of. The pokémon I posted are default for if you don't use memory link.

Red had a full team of Pokémon you got as gifts in Pokémon Yellow, but they can't do the same for Hilda/Hilbert.

And also, Cheren said neither Reshiram nor Zekrom were in Unova in B2W2, so I think we can assume he means the main character's not in Unova.

I personally think it would be interesting if they continue with the use of Memory Link between BW/BW2 in order to add to the storyline in Pokemon X and Y etc. And yes, I am one of those people who likes the idea of Hilbert/Hilda being the new Red on the Mountain top. I'm disappointed that the Memory Link wasn't used to copy the most recent Hall of Fame in your BW to enable you to fight your original self.

So it would be amusing if this new region is the one that they went to in search of N, and Hilda (or Hilbert, depending on your new character's gender - I'm a girl so I pick the girl) did appear at the end as a sort of final boss.

That would be brilliant. And yeah - the idea of having a default team could be nice. And as for gender, we could have them generated depending on Trainer ID.

IMHO it should be the current team at the moment of the Link, I think. So, you'd have to be careful about what you have in your party.
Another possibility, is that at the moment of linking, the game allows you to pick which Pokémon you'll send.

There's always the chance that a "default" team is stored in the game to be used if no memory link is made.

I'm not interested in battling what is essentially myself. I'm only interested in seeing the story arc of N and Hilbert/Hilda finally receive some closure. But I think it's highly unlikely we'll see them in X/Y.

That could be easily abused. Someone could just have 1 level 2 patrat and call it a day.

But definitely a full-team of six.

Besides, who would want to import a dud team from their original game apart from someone who was being silly? In which case, let them be silly. Most of us would enjoy the pleasure of fighting ourselves.

Imported team is even more difficult, think of what players with unbalanced teams would do? I think I had an HM slave when I made it into the hall of fame on Black the first time around. I wouldn't want to battle that.
The default route would work better for everyone IF there were enough gift Pokémon in BW, which there aren't. There's the elemental monkey, Larvesta and a fossil. Unless, of course, you count the Magikarp you buy on Marvelous Bridge. And Zorua shouldn't count because not everyone could get it.

True, and I don't see the problem about that. There are lots of things that could be easily abused. Trading a Lv.100 Pokémon right after the first gym, for example. At that level not even disobedience is a real problem -just wait it to obey and take hits of 1HP.

There will be always people looking for a cheap way, and there will be always people looking for true fun.

You had me at Eeveelution! I like the idea of Reshiram/Zekrom being determined by the secret ID. Either way I am pretty certain s/he would have a Zoroark, and having all three Unova starters is perfectly logical all things considered. Plus this would enable the team to appear without the use of Memory Link. Whether you encounter Hilbert or Hilda would obviously just be determined by the gender you are playing now.
