Hiya! I'm Mia Sitara!

I'll be 22 on May 14th, been a Pokémon fan since the anime first aired on YTV in Canada. I don't watch the anime anymore (I stopped after Kasumi left), but love the games. Crystal was my first. I've owned that, Sapphire, FireRed, Diamond, and just recently received Platinum. Haven't beaten FireRed (a friend in the States borrowed it) or Diamond (couldn't resist Platinum), but I'll be working on that - no worries. ^^

I must confess that I have/had the official guidebooks for each of my games except Platinum, which I decided to try to beat without one. I may have been playing video games all my life, but I'm not good at them. ^^;

I don't have a favourite Pokémon, I love so many! How could I choose between them?

Alright, I think that's enough for now. See you around!

Well, i hope you have fun around here, I'm sure there are plenty of people around here who've also used guidebooks, I know I have. Enjoy Bulbagarden!

Welcome!

Crystal was my first too. <3 I used a guidebook for it, because I didn't know enough English... But nowadays it's more fun to solve the journey by yourself. Of course, if ya get stuck, you can get help from the internets. Le gasp! ;)

Have fun!

If I was smart enough when I first played Yellow, I'd have damn well used a guidebook :p It took me 2 years to figure out how to use HMs!

But anyway, have fun! I'm sure you will :)

Just saying hello back! ^^

Guidebooks? Psshaw. I remember I had one of the guidebooks for blue and red. There were so many mistakes in it! So I say who needs them =P

So, do you have a favorite pokemon type? :eek:

*laughs*

Favourite type? Um...not sure on that either. I just like too many Pokémon to narrow my favourites down. ^^;

Heh heh, I understand how that feels =)

And I take it you like budgies? :p I've been curious, which do you think most resemble one in-game? I always liked Pidgey because it reminded me of mine, though Chatot seems to be most like them now :3

Just curious on what you think.

I own two budgies, and my name is based on two others that I had before they died. Pidgey is really cute, :D Chatot is practically a parrot, and budgies are part of the parrot family, so yeah. ^^
