Okay so Dawn's going on a jouney through Hoenn to be a great coordinator in the region. She makes a new female friend and still has old enemies, and her friend doesn't know anything about contests only battles. Well here I go!

Chapter 1 Arrival And A Battle

A bright sunny morning when the ferry arrives in Littleroot Town "Finally now I get to see other pokemon and maybe new contests" Dawn said with a smile on her face as she watched the dock come into view. Though Dawn didn't realize it but someone else was there too. It was Paul Ash's arch rival.

"So that pesky girl is here too well at least she'll be without that other pathetic kid" Paul muttered. Pretty soon the ferry arrived at the dock. People and pokemon got off the boat. Dawn got off too along with her Piplup and so did it's Paul though he got off ahead of her.

Although at the same time a brown haired girl got out of Professor Birch's lab. "Remember to catch more pokemon" Birch said. "No problem Swampert and I are going to be awesome" the girl said. "Hmph you're going to be awesome that's a laugh" Paul said.

"Brendan your personality has changed since back in Lilycove" the girl said thinking it was her next door neighbor. "Brendan what the heck are you saying" Paul said. "Oh sorry" the girl said and turned "You're not Brenadan in fact I don't even know who you are" the girl said.

"The name's Paul" Paul said. "Pleased to meet you Paul" the girl said and held out her hand. "Sorry I don't shake hands with losers" Paul said rudely. "Oh well how about we battle 1 on oe no switching" the girl said.

"Fine but you're going to lose" Paul said. "Oh really" the girl asked. "Go Torterra" Paul said and threw a poke ball. "Torterra" Torterra roared. "Swampert you're up" the girl said. "Swammmmmmm" Swampert said. "Now you're defenetly going to lose" Paul said. "No way" the girl said. "Swam swampert" Swampert said.

"Well at least the ride's over" Dawn said. "Piplup" Piplup said and pointed. "What Piplup" Dawn asked. "Lup" Piplup said and ran to the battle area. "Oh a battle well we shouldn't get involved right" Dawn asked. "Piplup" Piplup said. "Okay return" Dawn. "Pip" Piplup said.

"Now Swampert use your Surf attack" the girl said. "Swammmmmmpertttt" Swampert yelled and created a tsunami wave. "Fire now" the girl said. "Use Hyper Beam to blow away the attack" Paul siad. "Torterrraaa" Torterra yelled and fired the beam. The wave was destroyed and Swampert landed on the ground with a thud. "Hmm now it will have to rest Swampert Take Down" the girl siad. "Swam swamperttttt" Swampert yelled and charged at Torterra.

The attack hit and Torterra took a lot of damamge. "Errraaaa" Torterra roared in pain. "Torterra Leaf Storm" Paul said. "Tortttttttt" Torterra yelled and fired leaves at Swampert. "Perrrtttt" Swampert yelled. Then it fainted "Oh no" the girl said and ran up to her pokemon. "Swammm" Swampert said. "Hmph pathetic" Paul said as Torterra went into it's ball.

"Okay buddy return" the girl said and Swampert went into it's poke ball. "That was your strongest pokemon that's a laugh it got a KO just from a Leaf Storm" Paul sneered. "Hey you shouldn'y call her pokemon pathetic she just had a bad type matchup" Dawn yelled. "Troublesome what are you doing here" Paul asked. "Errr" Dawn started to say. "Oh I get it you want to try doing the Hoenn League aren't you" the girl asked. "No not exactly" Dawn said. "Then what is the reason" the girl said. "I'm going to enter the Grnde Festival here" Dawn said. "Is that a Pokemon Battling Tournament or something the girl questioned. "No you idiot it's just something that wimps like her do because her pokemon aren't strong" Paul said. "No it is not" Dawn said.

"Whatever I'm out of here" Paul said and walked away. *I don't even know why I like him he's just mean to me* Dawn thought.

Chapter 2 A Girl Knowing Only Battles


Flash another one of the girl's pokemon came out. It was a pink kitten like pokemon. "Skitty" the pokemon asked.
"No I'm not Skitty" the girl said.
"Skitt" Skitty said with a sad look.
"You okay" Dawn asked.
"Look I already told Skitty I'm fine why should I ell you" the girl said with a little bit of anger.
"Okay you're upset about that loss are you" Dawn said.
"Okay yes but that was just to a trainer I'm losing my skills" the girl said.
"Who are you" Dawn said.
"Ally's the name and pokemon training is my game" Ally said with a rhyme.
"You only train pokemon" Dawn asks.
"Yeah why is there more to pokemon then just training" Ally asked.
"Yeah you can compete in contests and breed them" Dawn said.
"Oh you mean combining pokemon in the daycare and making eggs yeah I do that on my spare time" Ally said.
"You don't know about contests" Dawn asks.
"No I just battle with my pokemon friends especially when I'm going to beat the two bad teams on this region" Ally said.
"Are Team Rocket one of them" Dawn said.
"No the Rockets are famed in Kanto and Johto the main bad guys here are Team Aqua and Team Magma both with different dreams Magma is trying to make more land and Aqua is trying to make more seas" Ally exclaimed.
"Wow but why are you the noy on battling against them" Dawn asked.
"Because I'm trying to be the best trainer around and beating both of them will defenetly boost my herione rating" Ally said.
"Herione" Dawn said with a sweatdrop.
"Yeah a female hero usually the males are always described as heroes especially the kid with a Pikachu I think the kid's name was Ash Ketchum or something" Ally said.
"Oh I'm friends with him" Dawn said.
"Oh now I remember you're that blue haired girl from the Sinnoh contests the one who can't get past the first round" Ally said.
"Shut up about that" Dawn said.
"Well if you want to do a contest here I suggest going to Lilycove" Ally said.
"Lilycove" Dawn asked.
"Don't worry I'll give you a lift" Ally said. "Skarmory go" Ally said and threw a poke ball.
"Skarrrrrrr" Skarmory said.
"Tyyyy" Skitty said.
"Okay Skitty back in your ball" Ally said. "Ty" Skitty said as he went back in.
"Okay hop on" Ally said as she climbed on to the Steel and Flying type.
"Okay but" Dawn said as she climbed on.
"But what" Ally asked.
"What if he can't fly" Dawn yelled.
"Actually it's a she and she can fly at high speeds of over 175 miles per hour but to the point Skarmory use Fly and take me and the blue haired one to Lilycove" Ally said.
"It's Dawn" Dawn yelled.
"Yeah I get the point" Ally said as Skarmory took off into the sky straight to Lilycove.

Chapter 3 Tough Trainer

Skarmory was flying at high speed in the sky. Ally was enjoying it but Dawn wasn't "Woo hoo this is awesome isn't it" Ally asked.

"No I'm not enjoying this kind of transportation" Dawn said. "Skarrr" Skarmory yelled. Pretty soon they landed in Lilycove City "Excellent job" Ally said and petted the pokemon. "Skarrr" Skarmory responded.

"Okay now that that's settled where's the Contest Hall" Dawn asked. "I've seen it but I forget where it is there's battle tents now instead of Contest Halls which is awesome" Ally said.

"Want to train then" Dawn said. "Okay" Ally said with a smile. "This is contest training not battle training" Dawn said. "No problem I got the best one for training go Breloom" Ally said and threw a poke ball. "Breloom" Breloom yelled.

"Okay then I choose you Mamoswine" Dawn said and threw a poke ball. "Mamoswine" Mamoswine said.

"Heads up Breloom it's an Ice type" Ally said to her grass type. "Breloom bre" Breloom asked. "Oh yes it's also Ground let's give it everything we got" Ally said. "Loom" Breloom said.

"Now Mamoswine use your Blizzrard" Dawn yelled. "Mamooooo" Mamoswine yelled and blew cold winds at Breloom. "USE DYNAMIC PUNCH" Ally yelled. "Breeeeeeeee" Breloom yelled as it's fist charged up with power.

"Go" Ally shouted. "Looooooom" Breloom said as it charged through the wind. "Mamoooooo" Mamoswine yelled as he was hit. Then it fainted "Mamo" Mamoswine said. "Yay we won we won we won" Ally said and jumped into the air. "Loom breloom loom breloom" Breloom said as he also jumped.

"Ally do you even know we were traing for a contest" Dawn shouted. "No" Ally said. "Ugh never mind return" Dawn said as Mamoswine went into it's ball.

"Okay I'll just go the Concert Hall" Ally said and found her way to the Contest Hall. "Wait up" Dawn said and ran after her.

Chapter 4 Registration And Appeal

"Okay we made it" Dawn said and walked to the registration counter. "Yes may I help you" the lady asked. "Yeah I'd like to enter the Pokemon Contest please" Dawn said. "Okay I just need your card" the lady said.

"Okay here" Dawn said and gave the lady her card. "Okay" the lady said and scanned the card on the machine.

"Okay so you're Dawn from Twinleaf Town" the lady asked.

"Yes" Dawn said.

"Okay now you just need to choose what pokemon you'll enter with" the lady said.

"Hmmm okay I'll use Mamoswine for appeal and Empoleon for battle" Dawn said and wrote down her pokemon entries. "Okay you're all set please go to the waiting area" the lady said. "Okay" Dawn said.

"Wow this should be fun can I enter" Ally asked the lady.

"Okay but do you have a pass" the lady asked. "No I just have a Pokeblock case" Ally said.

"Okay so let me see you're pokedex then" the lady said. "Here" Ally said and handed it to the lady. "Okay" the lady said and scanned the pokedex on the machine.

"Ally from Littleroot" the lady asked.

"That's me" Ally said.

"Okay here's you're pass and you're form" the lady said and handed them to Ally.

"Okay what's the form for?" Ally asked. "For what pokemon you're going to use" the lady said. "Okay" Ally said and signed the form showing what pokemon she would use. "Okay so nw you can go to the waiting area until you're called to perform" the lady said.

"Okay" Ally said and went to the area.

Also in the lobby someone was getting a pass to watch the contest the same purple haired trainer from before.


"I don't even have to dress up" Dawn said. "Yeah contests aren't formal you just focus on the pokemon" Ally said.

"Wow I can't wait to appeal" Dawn said with a smile.

"I can't either" Ally said.

"You're entering too" Dawn shouted. "Yeah I figure if my pokemon are tough they should be good at contests too" Ally said with a shrug.

"Yeah it'd be good for real life experience" Dawn said while sweatdropping.



"Welcome to the Lilycove Pokemon Contest" Vivian shouted through the microphone. "Is that Marilyn" Dawn said. "No that's Vivian she's the MC in Hoenn" Ally said.

"I'm Vivian and I'll be you're MC for today and now we're going to see some familiar faces along with some new ones too and hopefully new pokemon" Vivian said.

After a few appeals it was Ally's turn

"And now from Littleroot Town it's Ally" Vivian said.

Then Ally walked out on stage and a usual smile was on her face as if she was in battle. "Okay Skitty it's go time" Ally said and threw her poke ball. "Tyyyyy" Skitty meowed as he came out.

"And Ally starts off with Skitty a good pokemon for cute appeals" Vivian said. "Awwwww" the female audience members cooed.

"Okay Skitty Faint Attack" Ally whispered. "Tyyy Tyyy Skittyyyy" Skitty said and did a powerful Faint Attack and causing sparkles to fly in the air.

"And Ally starts off with a sparkeling appeal what will she do next" Vivian said.

"ASSIST GO!!!" Ally shouted. "Tyyyy skitttyyyy" Skitty screamed. Then a light went around the pink pokemon and a brown muddy wave swept across the stage and Skitty was on top of it.

"And now Skitty made an impressive Muddy Water" Vivian said again. "ASSIST" Ally shouted again.

"Tyyyy" Skitty yelled and then gray shining wings erputted from the sides of it's body. "Now use that Steel wing to slash that wave" Ally commanded. "Tyyyy skitttyyy" Skitty yelled and flew right through the brown wave. Then it caused shining clear liquid drops.

"Wow before it was a raging mucky wave and now it a rainbow like background surronding Skitty" Vivian said.

"That must have been from Skarmory" Dawn said.

"ASSIST ONE LAST TIME" Ally said. "Skitttyyyy" Skitty shouted. then Flames bursted from it's mouth and Skitty was blasted high into the air.

"Wow that Skitty is amazing" Vivian said.

"It must have been from a fire pokemon" Dawn said.

"Okay Skitty now do a drill like spin" Ally commanded. "Skitty" Skitty shouted. Then it began to spin like a drill faster and faster and faster. "Now prepare for landing" Ally said and ran under Skitty's shadow. "Tyy" Skitty said.

Then it landed on it's feet on top of Ally's head and Ally winked at the crowd. "And would you look at that folks Ally just finished her appeal in a brilliant way" Vivian shouted. Everyone was cheering for Ally except for one person Paul.

"Wow that was an excellent performance and the Assists were based n luck and fortunately for Ally it was good luck" the first judge said. "Yes remarkable" the second judge said. "The coolness from the moves Skitty used and cuteness from Skitty I must say it was a great combination" the third judge said.

"Wow for a first time it sure was awesome" Dawn said.

Remember, when you're writing dialogue, at the start of the quotes (in the middle of a sentence) it should have a comma a space prior. So something like this: Sighing, he said, "Why'd you do that?" Similarly, though not the same, you need a comma (or period, exclamation point, or question mark) before the end quotes. Here's an example: "Hey," he shouted, "that's not what I meant." In my opinion, the primary reason for this is a separator for the text, so they can be seen as separate. At least that's what it seems to cause the mind to think moreso than just quotes.

Chapter 5 And You Say You're A Pro

"Wow that seemed to be easier than I thought huh Skitty?" Ally said to her Skitty. "Tyyy" Skitty said.

"Here you go, a Pink pokeblock" Ally said. "Ty" Skitty meowed. Then Ally threw the pokeblock and Skitty caught it in it's mouth.

"How did you do that so well?" Dawn asked Ally. "Do what?" Ally asked. "The appeal!!" Dawn shouted.

"Well traing and playing with my pokemon if that counts Skitty loves to play don't you?" Ally asked Skitty. "Ty" Skitty said with a smile.

"Playing" Dawn whispered. Then she remembered what Wallace said.

"And you say you're a pro at contests" Ally sneered and laughed.

"Why ou little" Dawn yelled.

"Dawn you're up next" a man at the door said. "Okay see ya" Ally said.

"Yeah okay" Dawn said and walked into the hallway.

"And now all the way from Twinleaf in the Sinnoh region it's Dawn!!" Vivian shouted. The audience began to cheer "Guess troublesome is up next hope she does better than that last one with the Skitty" Paul said.

Dawn walked out on to the stage her poke ball was ready "Okay Pachirisu let's go!!!!" Dawn said and threw her poke ball. Flash the electric squirrel was out "Pachi chi" Pachirisu said.

"Now use Swift!!" Dawn commanded. "Chi chiiiiiii!!!!!" Pachirisu said and fired stars into the air. "Now use Shock Wave" Dawn said. "Pachiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!" Pachirisu said and fired elctricity on the stars.

"Wow it's an electrifying starry performance" Vivian said. "Ohhhhh" the audience members said. Then the stars vanished "Finish with a Thunder" Dawn said. "Chiiiiii!!!!!" Pachirisu said and fired electricity into the sky.

Then in a matter of seconds it came down with an electric splash. "And Dawn's performance is finished" Vivian shouted. "Yayyyyy!!!!" the audience cheered.

"Hmph that wasn't so bad compared to the last performance that squirrel did" Paul muttered.

"Alright we did it" Dawn said with a jump in the air.

Chapter 6 The Battler Or The Coordinator Who Will Be The Winner?

"Okay and here are the two coordinators in the final round!!!!" Vvian shouted. Then on the screen it was Dawn vs Ally.

Ally was just practicing punches with her Breloom and didn't care who her opponent was. "Bre bre bre" Breloom said while punching. "Good Breloom keep it up and Dynamic Punch will be awesome!!" Ally said.

"Oh great I'm up against her" Dawn whined. "Pip" her Piplup asked.

"Piplup I'm going against a trainer who won 6 six badges....." Dawn said. "Piplup piplup!!!!" Piplup said. "Your right we should just focis on us not the opponenet!" Dawn said with a smile. "Lup!!" Piplup chirped.

"Wow Breloom we made it to the top!" Ally said. "Breloom bre!" Breloom said. "Remember just battle like we're trainig" Ally said and petted Breloom. "Loooom!!!" Breloom said happily.

Pretty soon the two were on the stage. One trainer and one coordiantor both aiming for a ribbon well the coordinator more than the trainer. The trainer just wants victory. "And on my eft it's Ally!!!" Vivian said.

"We're ready to go" Ally whispered with confidence.

"And on my right it's Dawn!!!" Vivian said.

*Time for the win I don't care if she's strong* Dawn said.

"Now send out your pokemon" Vivian shouted.

"Piplup spotlight" Dawn said and threw a poke ball. "Piplup" Piplup said.

"Okay Breloom it's time to fight" Ally said and threw a poke ball. "Breeee!!!!!" Breloom said. It glared at Piplup since it was small.

"Winner takes all" Ally shouted. "Breloom" Breloom shouted. "Wow that's some confidence and now time is starting" Vivian said as the clock turned on.

"Okay Piplup use Peck attack" Dawn shouted. "Piplup" Piplup said and charged at Breloom with it's beak glowing.

Breloom just stood there and was defending with the mshroom on it's head. "Uh oh troublesome you got to use a special attack" Paul shouted.

"Huh" Dawn questioned as she heard Paul. *Nah I'm hearing things* Dawn thought.

"Lupp" Piplup said as the beak hit Breloom. "Now let loose the Effect Spores" Ally said. "Loom" Breloom said as the impact released a green powder at Piplup.

"Lup lup lup" Piplup coughed. But then it fell asleep right on the battlefield. "What" Dawn shouted.

"That's Breloom's Effect Spore ability it makes a pokemon suffer a status problem if it attacks directly" Ally said with a smirk. "Piplup wake up" Dawn shouted.

"And Piplup's knocked out with the Effect Spore!!!" Vivian shouted.

"Breloom Dynamo I mean Dynamic Punch" Ally said. "Breeeeeeee!!!!!!!" Breloom shouted as it's fist charged with power. "Ready" Ally asked with her eyes closed. "What's going on now" Vivian questioned.

Now it looked like both Ally and Breloom were sharing one mind. "Aim" Ally said with her fist raised too. "Loom" Breloom siad as it's fist took sight of Piplup's sleeping form. "And FIRE!!!!!" Ally shouted and punched her fist. "Looooommmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!" Breloom shouted and the powerful fighting type move hit Piplup. "Lupppppp!!!!" Piplup shouted as the move hit.

Then Piplup got blasted into the air and became confused. "Pip pip pip" Piplup said as Torchics were running around it's head. "Oh this is not good "Piplup use your Sheer Cold" Dawn said. "Pip" Piplup said as it became focused.

"Pippppluppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Piplup shouted and fired the most powerful Ice type attack. "BREEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!" Breloom screamed. "BRELOOM!!!!!!!!!" Ally shouted. "Loom" Breloom said and fainted due to it being a one hit KO.

"And that's it Breloom is down in one shot so the victor is Dawn from Twinleaf Town" Vivian shouted. "Pip" Piplup asked. "Alright alright we did it Piplup we did it" Dawn said with jumps for joy. "bre" Breloom asked as it looked at Ally.

"You did great Breloom" Ally siad. "Bre" Breloom said sadly. "And let's give it a hand for Ally who had the upper hand for almost the whole time" Vivian said. The audience began to cheer as Ally and Breloom both took a bow. Flash Skitty came out too and bowed.

Then the three left the stage without a word. "And let's give it a big hand for the winner Dawn!!!!" Vivian shouted. Everyone cheered and even Paul just smiled.

Chapter 7 Finding An Old Friend

Ally was outside of the contest hall and was looking at the ocean. Breloom and Swampert were next to her. "You know guys it's just like in Rustboro when we lost to Roxanne" Ally said to her pokemon. "Swampert" Swampert said. "Bre" Breloom replied.

Then her Pokenav starts ringing. "Hello" Ally asks as she picks it up. It was her friend and rival Brendan. "Hey Ally how's it going with you" Brendan asked. "Oh I'm doing fine" Ally said with false happiness.

"You okay" Brendan asks. "Yeah yeah I'm okay" Ally said. "Oh well I'm in Mossdeep right now and I'm hearing from our friend Steven that Team Magma is going to steal Rocket Fuel" Brendan said.

"Well maybe you can handle it" Ally replied. "Nsh I have to do something first" Brendan said. "Oh okay" Ally said. "Bye" Brendan said and hung up.

"Okay it turns out my girl is sad and maybe we can try cheering her up" Brendan said to his Sceptile. "Scep" Sceptile said proudly. "Okay now go Trophius" Brendan shouted and and threw a poke ball. "Troppp" Trophius yelled.

"Use Fly to get us to Lilycove" Brendan said as he climbed on to the pokemon's back. "Tile" Sceptile said and jumped on after Brendan. "Troppphiussss" Trophius yelled as it took flight. "Don't worry Ally I'm coming" Brendan whispered.

Meanwhile back in the Concert Hall the ribbon ceremony was happening and Dawn was holding her ribbon with happiness and Piplup was right by her side. "And let's hear it for Dawn" Vivian shouted. People were clapping and cheering.

Even at the Pyrite Town Pokemon Center where Ash was traveling to stop Cipher from producing Shadow Pokemon he was watching the whole contest. In Goldenrod City May and Drew were watching the Pokemon Contest. Misty was watching from the Cerulean gym. Even in Veilstone Paul's brother Reggie was watching the contest "No doubt Paul will be watching this from the shadows like he always been doing" Reggie said.

After the crowds left Paul tried to meet up with Dawn but he lost sight of the blue haired girl. Though he did see a Trophius flying to the Pokemon Center.

"PHHHIIII" Trophius shouted as it landed. "Okay a great flight return" Brendan said as Trophius into it's poke ball. "Now to find Ally" Brendan said.

Chapter 8 Troubles

Ally was sitting at the shore of the ocean with Swampert and Breloom her two very first pokemon that she had on her journey. Swampert was her very first pokemon received back when it was a Mudkip and Breloom back when it was a Shroomish was her very first pokemon capture. "You know guys" Allys asked. "Bre" Breloom said. "It's just like when we lost at Dewford Gym remember" Ally asked.

"Swam" Swampert said. It was all clear from way back Ally and her three pokemon Skitty, Shroomish, and Mudkip all losing to Brawly's strong Makuhita. Though they kept trying until finally Mudkip evolved into Marshtomp.

"Yeah I know Swampert you were the first pokemon evolution I ever saw" Ally said and petted Swampert. "Swampert" Swampert said happily.

"Well that's uaually expected because Mudkip was with you the longest Ally Cat" a voice said from behind her. "Brendan what are you doing here I thought you had to take care of something" Ally asked her friend. "Oh something Ally I actually meant someone" Brendan said as he sat next to his friend who he secretly had a crush on.

"Oh well who's the someone" Ally asked. "You" Brendan replied. "Oh" Ally said. "You don't mind bringing back your pokemon right" Brendan asked. "Oh yes return guys" Ally said. "Swampert" Swampert said as it went into it's ball. "Bre" Breloom said as it went into it's ball.

Also Dawn was watching the scene and wondering who Brendan was. "But why me" Ally asked. "Errr because I don't really like it when someone like you is upset" Brendan said. "Yeah I'm just upset with the losses I had so far" Ally said.

"Who did you keep losing to" Brendan asked. "Well in Mossdeep City there's a gym with not one but two gym leaders their names are Tate and Liza they are both powerful" Ally exclaimed. "Well who did you use in battle" Brendan asked. "I used all of my pokemon" Ally replied.

"Oh are those the only losses you had" Brendan asked. "No I lost in a contest too" Ally said as a tear began to form in her eye. "Ally contests aren't really your thing you should know that your a good trainer in fact your a great trainer you even beat me and I had a head start before you even moved to Littleroot" Brendan said.

Ally then began to cry softly "Ally" Brendan whispered and thne hugged his girl.

"Wow that girl really hides her emotions deep inside herself and only tells her closest friend" Dawn whispered. "if only I" Dawn began to say and thought about Paul.

Chapter 9 Double The Pokemon Battle

"Ally are you done crying" Brendan asked. "Yes I just needed to let it all out" Ally said as Brendan let go of her. "Oh I understand you can't even tell your pokemon because besides me they are the only ones you talk to" Brendan said.

"Yeah it's just sometimes when I take too many losses I think my pokemon won't trust me" Ally said. "You know what Ally Cat I got an idea" Br4endan said. Pretend light bulb goes on over his head. "What's the idea and will you stop calling me Ally Cat" Ally said with anger.

"How about you and me team up against another trainer" Brendan said. "Two against one" Ally asked. "If it's an alone one yes but a duo no" Brendan replied. "Okay" Ally said with a smile.

"Gee Ally can really agree with anyone" Dawn said.

"Who should we team up against then" Ally asked. "How about that girl who's been watchng this scene" Brendan said and looked at Dawn. "Hmmmmm a spy person that's an excellent idea" Ally said.

"Wait wait Ally I don't want to battle two on one" Dawn said. "Really you're too scared to battle" Brendan asked. "No I just don't want to do it alone" Dawn replied.

"Ha ha you're too scared to battle against us ha ha" Ally luaghed.

"Hmph that troublesome girl won't be alone in this" Paul said as he walked beside Dawn. "Guess it's on then" Ally said. "Yeah and we both know who to use" Brendan said.

"This is not going to be good" Dawn said.

"Now Sceptile let's show them our power" Brendan said and threw a poke ball. "Sceptile" Sceptile yelled.

"Swampert let's show them how we go with the flow" Ally said and threw a poke ball. "Swammmm" Swampert roared as it went into battle. "Torterra stand by for battle" Paul said and threw a poke ball. "Torterrraaaa" Torterra roared as it went onto the battlefield. "Piplup spotlight" Dawn said and threw a poke ball. "Piplup" Piplup yelled as it entered battle.

"Cool we're both using our starter pokemon" Ally said. "Yeah high five" Brendan said and held out his hand. "Yeah" Ally said and hit it.

"Swampert" Swampert said and held out it's paw. "Scep" Sceptile said and hit it.

"Paul I think this is going to be tough" Dawn said. "Since you still got that puny Piplup you're going to cost us the match" Paul sneered.

"Tort" Torterra said and turned it's head away from the tiny pengiun. "Piplup piplup piplup" Piplup shouted.

"This is going to be easy now Swampert use your Surf attack" Ally commanded. "Swammmm" Swampert said and created a tsunami. "Sceptile ride the waves and use Leaf Blade" Brendan said. "Scep" Sceptile said and jumped into the wave as his leaves grew sharp.

"Torterra Leaf Storm now" Paul commanded. "Tor terraaa torrr" Torterra roared and fired sharp leaves at the tital wave.

"Piplup go into the waves and use Drill Peck" Dawn shouted. "Piplup" Piplup said as it went into the wave.

"Did you forget you pesky girl Sceptile is ready for a direct attack" Paul shouted.

"Ready" Brendan asked. "Tile sceptile" Sceptile yelled and slashed it's green blades at Piplup. "Lupppp" Piplup screamed. Then it fell out of the tsunami which was still heading for Torterra.

"Okay Swampert ready for attack" Ally asked. "Swammm" Swampert said from behind the wave. "Now go into the roaring watera and fire a Hydro Pump" Ally said. "Swampert" Swampert said and dove into the wave.

"Paul if we're going to win we have to do combination attacks like Ally and Brendan are doing" Dawn said as Piplup tried to get up. "No way" Paul said.

"Fire when ready" Ally said. "Swammpert" Swampert yelled and fired the water type attack at Torterra.

Chapter 10 Stamina And Speed

"Dodge now" Paul shouted. "Tort" Torterra roared and jumped away from the attack.

"Oh no the pokemon's above the wave" Ally shouted. "No problem Sceptile use your Fury Cutter" Brendan shouted.

"Scepppp" Sceptile yelled as it's leaves grew a bright yellow. "Sceptile" Sceptile yelled and slashed at Torterra. "Tortttt" Torterra roared.

"Piplup use your Drill Peck attack on Sceptile" Dawn shouted. "Piplup" Piplup shouted and flew at Sceptile.

"This is not good" Ally shouted. "Scepppp" Sceptile yelled as the Flying type attack hit it.

"Terra" Torterra roared as it landed on the ground. "Piplup" Piplup said and landed on Torterra's shell.

"Okay Swampert use your Ice Punch attack" Ally shouted. "Swammperttt" Swampert yelled and charged at Torterra.

"Counter with Leaf Storm" Paul yelled. "Torterrraaa" Torterra yelled and fired leaves at Swampert.

"Sceptile defend Swampert using Leaf Blade" Brendan said.

"Scept" Sceptile shouted and jumped in front of Swampert while Swampert charged it's fist with icy power. "Tile sceptile" Sceptile said and slashed the leaves in two with it's sharp leaf like blades.

"Okay maybe we need to do some sneaky offensive attacks" Dawn suggested.

"How about your Piplup doing the sneaky attacks while the other pokemon focus on my Torterra" Paul siad. "Lup" Piplup said and jumped behind the two.

"Okay Swampert burrow underground" Ally commanded. "Swam" Swampert said and dug underground.

"Earthquake attack" Paul shouted. "Terrrraaaaaa" Torterra roared. Then the ground began to rumble madly as plates shifted against each other. "Jump into the air" Brendan shouted.

"Piplup jump into the air" Dawn said. "Lup" Piplup said and jumped. Swampert was completly vulnerable.

"Oh no Swampert" Ally shouted. "Perttttttttttttt" Swampert yelled underground. Then Swampert dug above ground but it still had a good amount of stamina.

"This one's tough" Dawn said.

"Ally your Swampert really is strong" Brendan said. "What do you expect I raised Swampert from a Mudkip" Ally said. "Of course" Brendan said with a sweatdrop.

Chapter 11 Pokemon Professeionals

"What that pokemon was suppose to go down in one hit" Paul shouted.

"Swampert doesn't go down easily that's why it's one of my best pokemon on my team" Ally said.

"Piplup doesn't go down easily either" Dawn shouted. "Piplup pip" Piplup said.

"Yeah but your pokemon didn't even evolve it's not even a Prinplup" Brendan said.

"Hey how do you know about Sinnoh pokemon" Dawn asked.

"I watch the Pokemon League tournaments that's why and i have to say that boy with the Pikachu had some awesome pokemon" Brendan said.

"Yeah but his were trained weakly he even entered some in contests" Paul said.

"Okay let's just stop the arguing and continue battling" Ally said.

"Sceptile use Solarbeam" Brendan said. "Scepppppp" Sceptile said while charging up energy.

"Okay Piplup Drill Peck now" Dawn shouted.

"Piplup" Piplup said and carged at Sceptile.

"Swam" Swampert said and blocked the little pokemon. "Lup lup lup" Piplup said while it';s beak hit Swampert.

"Come on Swampert let's not lose to that little guy" Ally said.

"Swampert" Swampert shouted and punched Piplup. "Pipluppp" Piplup screamed.

"Jump now Swampert Sceptile's ready" Ally said. "Swam" Swampert said and jumped into the air.

"Sceptile fire the Solarbeam" Brendan shouted. Sceptile" Sceptile shouted and fired a white lighted beam at Piplup.

"Torterra get in front of Piplup and use Hyper Beam" Paul shouted. "Terra" Torterra said and walked in front of Piplup.

"Torrrrterrraaaa" Torterra roared and fired a yellow orange beam at the incoming Solarbeam.

The two attacks collided and caused an explosion. "Scepppptttt" Sceptile screamed.

"Torttttt" Torterra roared in pain.

"This is not going to be good" Brendan whispered.

As soon as the smoke cleared Sceptile and Torterra were still going. Though both of their bodies were glowing a bright green. "What's happening Brendan" Ally asked.

"Sceptile's ability is taking place Ally, with it's low energy Overgrow is kicking in and now Sceptile's Grass type moves will be even powerful" Brendan exclaimed.

"Okay make sure your Piplup isn't in the way I got the perfect move set for a situation like this" Paul said to Dawn. "Okay" Dawn said. "Lup" Piplup said and got far to the side of Torterra.

"Oh no" Ally said.

"Don't worry Ally Cat I got a great move for a battle like this but make sure Swampert wo't be near this powerful Grass type move" Brendan said. "Okay and please stop calling me Ally Cat" Ally said.

"Swampert" Swampert said and moved away from Sceptile. It was right scross from Piplup.

The two water type pokemon glared at each other. "Frenzy Plant" Paul shouted. "Sceptile you use Frenzy Plant" Brendan shouted.

"Torterrraaaaaaa" Torterra roared. "Sceptttttttttttttt" Sceptile screamed. Then green vines came out from the tw ground near the two grass types. Then the vines hot both of the opposing pokemon.

"Torterrraaaaaa" Torterra screamed. "Scepptileeeeee" Sceptile screamed.

It created a massive dirt and wind outbreak as well. Dawn and Paul were shielding themselves and Brendan pulled Ally close to him and held her tight.

As the dirt cleared both Sceptile and Torterra were down. "Oh no" Brendan said. "Brendan why are you hugging me" Ally asked. "Huh" Brendan asked her. Then he realized what he was doing. "Oh sorry I was just shielding you from the wind because I thought you would blow away" Brendan said with a small pink blush.

"Okay" Ally said. "Phew" Brendan whispered. *At least she can get off topic easily especialy in battle* he thought.

"Paul I think I know why they are working so well together" Dawn said. "Why because the boy likes the girl" Paul said with sarcasm.

"Yeah" Dawn replied.

"Yeah and I guess that must have been the same for you and that idiot you use to be with in Sinnoh" Paul said. "No we were just like brother and sister" Dawn said.

"Hey Dawn now it's me vs you" Ally shouted. "Swam swampert" Swampert said.

"Oh yeah wish me luck" Dawn said. "You're defenetly going to need it troublesome" Paul said with a smirk.

"Now Piplup use your Hydro Pump" Dawn said. "Pipluppppppppp" Piplup shouted and fired a powerful water type attack.

"Hmmmmm let's see this should make things interesting hey Swampert catch" Ally said and threw a Damp Rock. (It's the one that makes rain last for longer than five turns)

"What's a stone going to do" Dawn asked her. "You'll find out coordintor" Ally said.

"That's a lame insult" Dawn said.

Swampert didn't get too affected by Piplup's attack. "Now Swampert Rain Dance" Ally said. "Swam swampert swampert swmapert swampert" Swampert said and began to dance.

Then rain began falling out of the clouds. "What's a batter weather condition for Water types" Ally said.

Chapter 12 Rain Rain Don't Go Away

"Oh no now my hair's going to get wet" Dawn said. "I don't know I really like rainy weather since my hair curls up when it's hot" Ally said and too off her bandana.

"Yeah but you look cute that way" Brendan muttered.

"Piplup" Piplup sighed.

"Besides water pokemon love rain" Ally said.

"Swampert" Swampert said in agreement.

"You should just continue the battle troublesome" Paul said. "Piplup use your Hydro Pump" Dawn said.

"Pipluppppppppp" Piplup yelled and fired a blast of water at Swampert.

"You call that a Water type attack quick Swampert you use Hydro Pump" Ally commanded.

"Swamperttttttttt" Swampert shouted and fired the attack.

The two attacks collided but Swampert's Hydro Pump completly took over Piplup's Hydro Pump. "Pipluppp" Piplup screamed as it was hit.

"This can't be good" Dawn said as Piplup looked like it was in a mess of trouble. Then it's body began glowing bright blue "Luppp" Piplup said as it got up.

"What's going on Piplup are you evolving" Dawn asked.

"No it isn't you troublesome girl you Piplu's Torrent ability is starting up" Paul said.

"What's Torrent" Dawn asked him.

"Remember back when the tournament was going on" Paul asked. "The Pokemon League" Dawn asked. "No that thing in Hearthome when I was teamed up against Ash and you were with that nerdy kid" Paul said. Then he grew jealous of how Dawn was happy ahen she was her partner.

"Oh yeah and that was when Ash got Chimchar" Dawn said.

"And I told you and the others that story of when Chimchar was attacked by the Zangoose and how it's ability Blaze caused it to do a powerful Flame Wheel" Paul said.

"Yeah btu what's that ability got to do with Piplup's ability" Dawn asked. "It's the same thing as Blaze" Paul started to say. "Piplup can't learn fire attacks" Dawn said. "No stupid Water type attacks will get more powerfu" Paul said again.

"Does that girl even battle" Brendan asked Ally. "No she does contests because her pokemon aren't as strong as ours" Ally said.

"Yes they are now Piplup use huh" Dawn started to say. But Piplup was doing another attack.

"Pipppppppp" Piplup siad as it was charging up the water from the rain.

"Uh oh" Ally said. "Piplupppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp" Piplup screamed while doing a Hydro Cannon.

"Underground" Ally said. "Pert" Swampert said and dug underground before the attack could even make contact.

"Wow Piplup what was that" Dawn asked. "Pip" Piplup said softly. The little pokemon was awfully tired.

"Okay time to finish this off once and for all Swampert Earthquake" Ally screamed. "Pert" Swampert said as it jumped out into the clouds.

"Swammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" Swampert yelled again. Then the blue pokemon hit the ground at full force causing the earth to shake with tremendous violent fury.

"Lupppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp" Piplup screamed as it fell into the large but tight cracks. Then the small penguin pokemon fainted.

Chapter 13 Down For The Count

"Hey Ally Cat I think you can turn down the rain now" Brendan said. "Okay" Ally said.

"Swampert" Swampert yelled. Then the rain finally stopped falling.

"Piplup" Piplup groaned softly.

"You should have evolved that weakling then this battle would have ended in a win for us" Paul whispered.

"Return" Dawn said. "Lup" Piplup said as he went into the ball.

"Wow that battle was much more easier than expected" Brendan said. "Yeah" Ally said in agreement.

"Okay buddy return" both Ally and Brendan said. "Swampert" Swampert said as it went into it's ball. "Sceptile" Sceptile said happily as it went into it's ball.

*Those two remind me of how I use to battle when I was with Ash I really miss him and his Pikachu* Dawn thought as a tear ran down her cheek.

"Awesome battling that you and Swampert did" Brendan said.

"You and Sceptile weren't too bad either" Ally said with a smile.

"High five" Brendan said and held out his hand. "Alright" Ally said and hit it.

*Okay now it really reminds me of back in Sinnoh I can't take this* Dawn thought and then ran off.

Two Team Aqua Grunts were watching the match "That was totally awesome" the second one said. "Shut up you idiot we might get seen" the first one said.

"Hey how about we get a hostage" the second one said. "Woah that's an excellent idea but who" the first one asks. "The brown haired one she's cute" the second one said.

"Let's get the blue haired one because she isn't taken yet" the first one said while looking at Ally and Brendan's behavior.

"Okay" the second one said.

Chapter 14 Blue Can Be Bad

"No wait!" Paul called to Dawn. "Damn now I have to try finding her" he muttered and ran after her.

Brendan grabbed Ally's hand and pulled her into a hug. "Brendan why are you hugging me" Ally asked with a dark red blush.

Meanwhile on the route near Lilycove awn had a bad runin with the two Team Aqua Grunts. "What do you want" she shouted.

"Well we'd figure we'd take a hostage for once and besides you'd make a beautiful Team Aqua member" the second grunt said. "Oh okay" Dawn said.

"Oh please I don't think false compliments will get her in on your scheme" Paul sneered from behind them.

"Well we gotta do this the hard way" the two grunts said and threw their poke balls. Flasha Corphish and a Crawdaunt came out. "Corphish" Corphish said. "Crawdaunt" Crawdaunt yelled.

"Corphish" Corphish said and jumped on top of Dawn's head and began snapping it's claws. "Daunt" Crawdaunt said and ran of front of Dawn and began snapping it's even bigger claws.

"Either leave or your girl dies" the first grunt said. "NO I don't want to die yet I didn't even win too much ribbons yet" Dawn whined.
