I am Lt. Heckler, freelance writer, computer geek, cartoonist, and master of dry humor. Firstly, I'll answer the inevitable question that comes with my username: No, I am not affiliated with any military in any way, shape, or form. Now, watch as some moron asks that question. Or some funny guy does the same in a sarcastic manner.

Anyway, on to why I'm here. I came to Bulbagarden after a month or two of drifting across iPhone forums, general stuff forums, music forums, and a stint on the Newgrounds forums that lasted about twelve seconds. To be honest, I have no idea why I didn't come here before, considering the fact that I've been relying on Bulbapedia for all my PokéInfo for years, and lurking here just as long. Here's hoping I can finally find a place to call 127.0.0.1.

Congratulations, you may all now consider yourselves slightly more enlightened than you were three minutes ago. Not that you learned anything important or anything.

Are you in the military?
Just had to get that out of my system. Welcome to the Forums, and let me tell you how great it is to see someone else who bothers to put the accent in Poké. Is there any aspect of the fandom that interests you in particular?
 
I don't have particular preference for any one section of the fandom, but I tend to avoid the anime. I fell out of the target audience around the turn of Ruby and Sapphire, and with the troubles the series had during that time, probably would have given up on it anyway. I still occasionally watch the first few seasons with my little cousin for the nostalgia, though :D

The parade perhaps, but the afterparty and mingling can continue for two more days. You never know really.
