The Story
It wasn't quite on purpose.
The human players of Sburb, the four children who had become embroiled within the game’s immense and apocalyptic design, had finally met their counterparts - twelve trolls - face to face. Through a series of shenanigans across time and space, the humans made it onto the troll’s meteor lab, and immediately chaos broke out. Arguments of all sort were had, but eventually – and not without the help of several auspiticizing trolls and even humans - the situation managed to calm down, and both sides decided that a little bit of rest and relaxation was in order after the massive failures of both of their sessions.
But of course, as is the way of the game, no peace came to either set of players. The Heroes of Space saw visions in their dreams, as they peered once more into the clouds that drifted over Skaia’s luminous surface. Skaia was offering them a second chance. One set of players would be able to start their Sburb session all over again, with all the knowledge that they now held. They could put everything right again!
Stunned silence followed. Then arguments, accusations, and copious profanity fouled the air around the meteor. The kids wanted the chance – the trolls had doomed them from the start! The trolls argued that if they went back and fixed everything, the kids would never have been doomed in the first place. Tensions escalated and blows were exchanged. Chainsaws, hammers, and dice were brandished in scores. Finally, frightened and ashamed, the players stopped fighting and ran off to hide and nurse their wounds. In the darkness, one angry kid contacted the supposedly omniscient being who had been using them to orchestrate his own omnipotence all along.
That revelation rippled through the kids’ shocked minds. At first the idea seemed completely unthinkable, but gradually their sense of self-preservation made it seem to be the only option. Finally they agreed to do it, however reluctantly – if only because the trolls were likely planning the same thing.
In fact, they were. Their arguments through Trollian were long and heated, but eventually they decided that they would have to kill their human counterparts. After all, if their session succeeded, the kids would just be born into the new universe once again. But it would be difficult. The kids had all reached the vaunted, mighty God Tier, and they would be incredibly dangerous to fight them for even the most experienced combatants. Regardless, it had to be done, and if the trolls had anything to say about it it would be done.
A new game, a game of betrayers and secrecy, had begun.

TT: I presume this was your handiwork? After all, I can’t imagine that Skaia itself would want to divide us. This whole convoluted campaign has been about unity.
Who’s to say? Skaia works in mysterious ways, as you know. That aside you deceive yourself when you claim to believe I was the one responsible for this development.

a. Name-claiming is banned. This will get you modkilled.
b. No mass-claiming. Period. You are allowed to accumulate claims over time; however, no one is allowed to ask everyone to claim to them.
c. Fake-claiming and role-claiming are a-okay.
2. About Screenshots
a. You may not share any screenshots of your role-PM. This will get you modkilled.
b. You may share any PM you send or are sent throughout the game, including PMs by me.
c. You may fake screenshots if you're dedicated enough to do so, but no fake role-PMs.
3. Be civil to your fellow players. Excessive rudeness/flaming will result in a sub-out.
4. In order to sign up, please include what your Pesterchum handle would be somewhere in your post. A Pesterchum handle consists of two words, the first lowercase, the second capitalized, such as gallowsCalibrator, gelatinousVelocirtaptors, or turntechGodhead.
5. No dead-talking. You are still allowed one post after death.
6. Don't play against your win condition. You may be modkilled for this.
7. Include me in the recipients of all PMs sent about this game, and notify me of any QTs you may make. Any other outside communication is fine, as long as you provide me with a brief summary of the information you exchanged, ie claims or whatnot.
8. EDT will be used for this game. Updates will be posted by me at 9:00 pm nightly. If they are not, then the phase will be extended for 24 hours.
9. Post all unvotes and votes in bold. ie Vote: VeloJello or Unvote: VeloJello.
10. Notify me of any username changes, please.
11. If you have not posted in-thread, in a QT, or PM'd me for two phases, you will be warned at the turn of the phase. If you do not respond by the end of that phase, you will be subbed out.
