Homika vs Ash speculation

So, from a leaked preview or something, we know that Ash will battle Homika, and we know she has a Koffing.
So.. What other Pokemon do you think Homika has? Most importantly, does this mean Ash will be having 9 badges, or is he skipping a Gym Leader, or is the gym battle unofficial? Share your opinions.
