No surprise. IGN reported the movie would be aired in the US this year, and movies have been premiered on December in the past. It's just a question of what day.
 
Pretty sure Cartoon Network will screw up something in the film. Like cutting the first 10-20 minutes of the film, or removing the vocals in the opening theme played, or worse, having to put promos for Teen Titans Go.

And we all know that show sucks, right?
