How can I transfer clips or pics from a DVD player & TV to my PC?

I know it sounds wierd... But say I'm using my portable Insignia DVD player, and want to transfer screenshots from the player to my laptop?

I've even tried doing it on a large TV set, by taking pictures of the screen with a digital camera *cries out of shame*

If your laptop has a dvd drive, it would be best to load the DVD into the drive, and load up a program such as powerdvd or VLC Player that allows for making screencaps of video that you're watching.

Unfortunatley, my laptop with a disc drive doesn't exist. T_T I'm using a Dell Latitude!!! I seriously need a new laptop.

Haha, I used to run with an ancient lappy myself, so I know your pain. Anyways, try snapping pics without flash, in a somewhat dark room. See if that'll help ya.
