As the Title says what do you think needs to be added? Ideas for a better game? Any new mechanics to be added?

I dunno, but flame? I suggest simply VMing or PMing people about this type of stuff, cause people rarely use the RP Discussion, if it all.

Less murders and longer days, so it will last longer.

Something that includes the dead people. Like once 5 people are killed the dead arr allowed to pick one person from among them to go back to life.

Give some people special roles, like in Mafia games.

Example:
Lucario the Protector - Each night, he/she could select one person to protect. This person would be protected one entire night from murders.

Hoothoot the Inspector - Each night, he/she could try inspecting someone for their role.

Cherrim the Daywalker (Or some famous celebrity Pokemon) - During daytime, when he/she tries to make a vote it would count secretly as 2 points instead of 1.

Wobbuffet the Bonder - Every night, he could choose to Destiny Bond someone. If they are bonded to him and he is killed, they will die with him.

(THESE ROLES ARE SECRET and should only be known by the person themselves. Unless they risk wanting to share.)
That were just some of my ideas.

Well. I'm keen on Feng's ideas. I'll talk to you via PM tomorrow.

And I'll consider the others. I've been considered having a formula to whether or not a murder is successful.

Random Number Generators help with that stuff, by the way.

Once again, only this time formally, I suggest getting rid of the lynchings, as they break the biggest rule of slasher films, never split up the group. Killing one of your own members depletes your numbers and the chance of survival. I mean locking someone up for the night under guard, makes sense, if they are the killer, it'd still reveal them like a lynching would cause they couldn't kill someone that night. Not only does it seem like an unwise thing to do in the situation, getting rid of it will make the RP longer.

Another thing, maybe give the last survivor a chance, randomly, like just a coinflip, that they kill the killer instead of being killed. Obviously the killer goes after the last person, so give them a chance to turn the tables and kill the murderer. They'd have one in real life.

Another suggestion, perhaps there should be a list of things that will decrease the likelyhood of being murdered if targeted, like staying with a group (unless one of those Pokemon is the killer) instead of sleeping alone or setting traps. Then an extra random selection is done to see if their precations help them escape death.

Only problem with this is... How to get rid of the murderer now?

Yes, but then the murderer could just frame them by murdering no one that night. Thats what I did to win in the first one, sorry Thespia!

By present rules, they can only do that once, so if they kill the person in the morning and the game continues, they'd have lynched the wrong person, but for a justified reason, instead of just paranoya.

I really think the cages should be gone or at least limited even more, it just gets rid of the lynching aspect a lot. Oh and there is a good type of Mafia game called werewolves, it has even more things, you should look it up, it's cool like you know a village with werewolves, but never mind just look at the special cards for it, they have good ones.

What might be cool is, since its basically a Pokemon slasher flick, work some degree of slasher flick rules into it. Like, probably the easier and most fair, is have the 'final boy/girl' have a fight with the revealed killer, possibly in a discussion topic here or something. Then you, or someone else if the killer is you, decides the winner, the killer wins, they get to kill the victim, the victim wins, they kill the murderer. If there's more than one killer, then they have to kill them both to survive. Likewise, if the killer is up to be lynched and are revealed as the killer, they get to fight back and try to take some of their killers with them, if its far enough in, they might actually win, same rules apply. It'd be an incintive for the victims to try to be the last one standing, and extend the game just a bit.

Also, this would make it more fair, because, in all honesty, it seems like the killers are winning most of the time, all they got to do is avoid getting caught and if their partner dies, they can resign, the pokemon really only have capturing the killer to survive, and if you're the last person, you die automatically, in real life, and most slasher flicks, the last person will be on guard and ready for the killer, so why not do the same here?

Seconded. Seriously, we shouldn't make the murderer all-powerful. The murderer's only lost once so far, and that was because he resigned. We need to make the scales a bit more balanced if we want this to be a fair game instead of a no-win situation for whoever isn't the murderer.

To be honest, that's one of the prime reasons I've been keeping out of the Murder RPs so far, its too hard for the civilians to win, it should be balenced.

And even though it wouldn't completely even it out, at least having the last survivor getting a 'final girl/boy' showdown would give them one big shot to win. Only thing is deciding fairly who would win.

Ive been the murderer twice now, and being the murderer is not that hard.

I agree with Ombrare, it would be good if the killer wasn't so powerful, though it was infuriating in that last one when I knew I wasn't the killer, and actually read flame's last statement, and I got lynched, lol :D
