How dedicated of a shipper are you?

How dediacted are you towards your ship?

Do you argue relentlessly against your raivals?
Have you done things for your ship that you show off at every oppertunity?
Or maybe you have done something so Great to honour your ship and yet no one knows about it?

Be proud of the ships that you support.

Well, I'm a crazy Championshipper, since I founded it. All I do is relentlessly write fanfic for it (which is, sadly, past the 1000 stories mark). Yes. All Championshipping.

I don't ship much anymore, to be honest.

Sure, I like some of the fanart that's posted and I like to talk about pairings here....but overall I don't think about it when I watch the show unless there's an obvious shipping scene happening in a certain episode.

I also think the fact that D/P has had virtually no shipping aside from Pikachu/Buneary is what's limited my interest overall. Yeah, pairing Dawn up with every character under the sun because she's "the new girl" is fun, but I don't really care who the writers intend for her to end up with, or who the fans want her to either.

So now...my posts here are just a way to kill some time. And to scope out pretty fanart. Yep.
 
I'm a very dedicated shipper in all my fandoms. All my fanfiction is romance. The fics I read and art I look at is shippy. I look for hints in the shows I watch and (especially) the games I play. The thing is...I never commit to one ship. There are very few ships I like where I don't like a conflicting ship equally or more. I'll have my OTPs, but that won't stop me from declaring myself a Lyreshipper and a HeatTagshipper (and a Pandorashipper, and an Akatsukishipper...). It's not just Pokemon, it's any fandom I get into. I like my romance, and I get as much as my grubby hands can get a hold of.

So I'd say I'm a dedicated shipper, just one who gets around. ;P
 
I'm so dedicated, I: have no rivals to debate with, don't need to show off my 'ships everywhere I go, and don't need to honor it. I'm above and beyond all the need to put myself out there in that ocean of chaos; I still daintily on the shore and care neither way if people know what my OTP is or not. :3 And I'm still proud of it, because its practially my own at this rate.

My dedication is my security in its existence without the desperation for it to be recognized.

A ship is only as strong as those who hold it up, and wave it around to the world. without fear of attack, or raivals. Knowing that faith and loyalty is enough.
 
Xaotl you are the most dedicated Advanceshipper I know.

I pretty dedicated to Pokeshipping even though I lost faith in it alot. But I never stop hoping.

What is strength then? I'd rather walk away from the bully than gather my friends to back me up. Same goes for here. Honorshipping's my cup of tea above all others (followed close-as-can-be by Neglectshipping and Gaiashipping), and I don't need an army for it. :3 I just need me, honestly; and if people like it (I know a few do), then that's cool. I don't expect loyalty or anything. You shouldn't have to be strictly loyal to one 'ship anyway, because expected loyalty by other people is ridiculous when it comes to fiction. I'm willing to bet there's any number of people who 'ship contrasting pairings, like any combination of Pearl/Advance/Pokeshipping (with contrasts to the girls included), or Poke/Ego/Pallet/Poke/Gymshipping, etc. It's silly. ^^ But that's my belief.

'Waving it around to the world' at every turn is excessive, I think. And shows insecurity of yourself. That a person doesn't want to be forgotten of which couple they prefer, as though that couple defined them. Oh I'm not saying you should never say it; it's a fun pasttime, after all. But I've seen zealots to their pairings...it ain't pretty. And there's a thin line between dedication and fanaticism.
 
The only real ship I am dedicated to 100% is the Link/Midna ship. I'm a *rabid* fan of Midna, and Link/Zelda was old 10 years ago.


Do I like other ships? Yes. Of course. Am I dedicated 100%? No.

I like a couple of ships, but there's only one I like enough to refer to in this.

How dedicated?: Um. In terms of being a fan of it, I love it and feel it's the only ship that's realistic to happen between the characters, supposing nothing else out of the blue happens.

Do you argue..?: Not really. I only really argue about other things. This ship's not brought up a lot, so I don't bother.
Have you done things to show off..?: Nope.
So Great thingy..: Definitely nope.

I'm a shipper I guess, but I'm not obsessive.
 
I am mostly dedicated to most of the shippings I support. When I get around to it, I draw fan-art and write fan-fiction, the usual. =D
I also make MMVs that revolved around the pairings. -nod,nod-
No AMVs though since I'm too lazy to search for clips. xD;

Proud supporter of some shippings. I've never stopped believing in Pokeshipping! <3
 
Hmmm, I'm a fairly undedicated person in terms of shipping. I don't really believe that every character has 'ONE TRUE LOVE!' so most of my ships, Pokemon or otherwise, tend to conflict with other ships I have. I'm generally pretty cool with it since it lets me have a lot of flexibility when I write/watch the show. I'm generally less disappointed than most shippers and I think I'm slightly less crazy in the normal way. Though I have my own insanity regardless.
 
The ships I have been deticated to now are

Kenny/Dawn-I mean I don't write fan fictions for them or any thing but I do love seeing stuff happen between them on screen, its cute.

Paul/Ash-This is probaly the big D/P ship I ship, slashy yes but I don't care. I love there bikering and rivalry. I look through the fan fictions and fan art and try to find pictures for these two and banners. Its just fun yah know?

Ash/Dawn-I ship them, don't write fan fictions for them any more but I do enjoy there scenes they have together and friendship. I stick up for the ship whenever some people are bashing it in the thread.

Tracey/Misty-Have been a shipper of these two since the specials, probaly my longest ship I've supported. I don't write fan fictions but I do post in the topic often and look for hints when they show up.

These are the main ships I support and am willing to do stuff for.

In fact, I value my beliefs so strongly, that I will even venture into Pikachu gender threads and mention my "theory" about Pikashipping. XD

Walking away may make you the bigger person, but it will not help the situation in any way. I agree with you that people desreve the freedom of their own choice to choose what they wish and not be forced into it, so if some people like contradicting ships it is their wish.
loyalty is a perception of the mind (weather you like one ship or if there are two and they contradict), but in a time when your freinds will show that they are not loyal to you in the slightest, than loyalty counts for alot. A ship is pure belief, state of the mind and nothing else. Like loyalty. and when a bully comes up to you it is the loyalty of your freinds around you, showing the bully that there is no point of bieing a fag, not backing you up, but rationalising things beetween the two.

Every one is insecure in some way, it is a part of bieing human. And if some one is fanatical about their ship (to the point where it is their ship or suicide) well, that is

something that they need a third option with.

Many are loyal to a ship, and it dosn't define them, it is more usually the shippers who define the ship. I hope that my ship dosn't define me. If it did I would start to be scared.

^I have never thought so philosophically bafore.

I am primarily a Poké, Contest and Appealshipper. Probably more too.

I follow them and will defend them. Nothing OTT though.

Not unless it's against Ikarishipping. I just don't like the idea of Dawn and Paul being together. I also dislike ships which have little evidence, Ikarishipping being one such example.

Nothing great. I don't follow ships too closely. I named a few ships though, even ones I would never support (such as PhoebexMaylene)
 
Diamondshipper even in the face of relentless Eldershippers, and when I write Gio shippy fic, it's of that flavor.

I don't know what I've done to "prove my love" unless you count all my fan fiction. Maybe just going through life ASSUMING Giovanni is Ash's pop?

I'm making a site and writing fics. Unless putting stuff in my sig counts, I don't really "show off" my stuff, but I like to post or talk about it in the appropriate places, since hardly anything new pops up regarding the ship anyways and hopefully my stuff will interest some people.

I guess the website honors my ship? ^^ But I think at least a few people know about it.
 
I respect the concept of shipping and personally I think abilityshipping is cute, but i'm not into it enough to care wether it happens or not, and I still see Ash taking the path yugi did and walk out single leaving any romance to fanfiction.

Sure I could see couples not involving him happening like contestshipping did, but as for ones that involve him I doubt it.

I try not to argue relentlessly against other ships, just ignore some of the ones I dislike (like pokeshipping).

I wish they would ignore me too...
