I have played Diamond for nearly 300 hours. I've played SoulSilver for about 150 hours. My Battle Revolution has 8 hours in 3 days and my Colosseum has about 15 (All I have done in Colosseum is the storyline and I haven't even beaten it.) I have a full tin of good/excellent cards and a baby wipes box full of crap cards (yes I said wipe box; I have a little brother.) And I have one memory from when I was 3: My Pikachu and Mew talking plush dolls. That's how dedicated I am, now how dedicated are you?

I'm really only dedicated to the main games, but recently, me writing fan fic has drawn me in a lot deeper. I have about 195 hours on HG, and need 90 more pokemon to fill my dex. That counts as dedicated, right?

I'm very dedicated to this franchise mainly because of the video games, the anime and the creatures in general.

45 hours on FireRed before I had to return it, 85 hours on SS, and about 4 on my newly started Platinum. I have a bunch of crap cards from when I was younger (and before I played the games) and 1 Lugia card. I also got this marble launcher that holds eight marbles, each decorated with a different G1 Pokemon. I basically forgot about it until October when Lugion reintroduced me to the series.

I won't watch the anime because I think it's a horrible piss stain on the franchise from being absolute crap. I don't understand how a fan can watch that shit and not hate it for putting a bad name on Pokemon. It makes about as much sense as a One Piece manga fan liking the 4Kids crap dub. So as someone who hates the anime, I feel like more of a pokemon fan than someone who does.
Forget the fact that it's marketed towards elementary school kids, it doesn't even have respect for those elementary school kids. I'd rather watch spongebob than the stupid cartoon, at least spongebob doesn't rape my childhood nor my favorite games' canon, and the main character isn't as annoying as Ash.

I still can't get over fucking baby lugias. THERE ISN'T MOMMY AND DADDY LUGIAS. THERE IS ONLY ONE LUGIA, OK?? SCREW YOU FOR RUINING MY FAVORITE LEGENDARY. SCREW YOU.

Oh and I've been playing since Red and Blue, and the only duo/trio I missed was firered and leaf green, and I have 450 hours + on soul silver.

300+ hours on any of the games?

...I only have like 72 on SS ATM. Too lazy to check Platinum or Diamond, heh. FireRed and Ruby? I chucked those somewhere. I even gave away the 1st and 2nd gen games I had.

When I was younger I used to go balls out collecting the cards, toys, and watching the show, if that counts.

im very much dedicated, i spend a lot of my time playing and thinking about Pokemon and ive made it work of mine to know all the pokemon and how to spell their names

*looks at username*

Eh, I'd say I don't care that much.

Nah, I love pokemon. It's been a big influence on me and has landed me a lot of friends.

Just put it this way... if pokemon never existed, I'd probably have nothing to live for.

I'm very dedicated. I grew up with the franchise and it just kinda stayed from when I was a kid. I play the games, watch the anime and like the Pokémon in general. Being and posting here every single day proves it. I admit, it's one of my main activities this summer.

Pokemon is a second "fictional" thing I'm most dedicated to, all that time and money spend on stuff.

I'm only more dedicated to Starcraft.

I don't think the anime is too bad UNTIL the Master Quest series, just because of said baby Lugia, that annoys me, there's only one of each legendary in my book.

So like I said just there, I watched the original series as a kid, and am currently rewatching it online, I've read a bit of the manga, and getting my parents to buy me at all asap, I only have 110 hours of playtime on HG so far, and I think about 200 on Diamond. I had some cards as a kid, but only recently started collecting them now at 15 years old.

I'm actually becoming significantly more dedicated now that I'm older lol

I wasn't that dedicated until I learnt that each Pokemon has more than their appearance. I learnt that each has their own base stats, origins, moves and so on, knowing the Pokemon in-depth gives life to the Pokemon, and that is great enough for me to think about Pokemon being one of the franchises that I will watch, because they are sooo awesome. For the games, I mostly played until I got the title of the champion, but not before finding every side quest the game has to offer, and for the anime, I recently catch on with it because the time to be interested is ripe.

I have every Gen III and IV game, with over 300 hours on each. And I have every single episode of the anime on DVD.

I'm fairly dedicated, with 500 hours on Pearl, 200 on Platinum, and 80 on SS, as well as several plush/figures/cards.

I wouldn't call myself dedicated to anything. Granted, I may have called myself dedicated to Pokémon awhile ago, but after giving it up for awhile and focusing on Ratchet and Clank and Sex and the City, I'm not sure I can call myself this anymore...

very to the games.

the show im kinda and cards i use too but now there somewhere in my room getting covered in dust.

the games iv played like crazy sence silver when i could hold a game boy in my tiny hands

I am exceedingly dedicated to the games (I have every DS game, including multiple versions) and I only write fanfiction for the Pokemon section. The staff of RGBY was, in my humble opinion, amazing. When I go on to make my own games, Pokemon is going to be a huge influence, both because of what it taught me works, and what scares potential fans away.

The anime I couldn't care about, but a lot of the manga are cute. Oh, and plushies = <3
