Since before I even registered on these forums, I've noticed many users display various text - often as some sort of caption or other - in place of where it says "Registered User" above the avatar and below the username and have had no luck figuring out people do it or finding another thread about it. How do you do it?

If such a thread does exist, I apologize.

Settings - Edit Profile

Go down to the field labeled Custom User Title. Look for a box underneath it. Type in whatever you want. Scroll down and click Save Changes.

Just wondering, do you have the Reset button checked off?

Ah, so that's where I do it. Thanks a lot.

It looks like my Reset box is checked off, but I'll be sure to check it when I set a Custom User Title.

Actually, I think you're supposed leave the Reset Box checked off when you're trying to change your usertitle. You check it in if you want your usertitle to revert to the regular "Registered User" title.

Well, I'll just test the settings of my Custom User Title when I get around to it to see how it goes. Thanks.

I guess this thread can be closed now.
