How do I get egg moves on to a male nidoran?

Bulbapedia and other sites say it's possible, but I don't understand how.
Only the father can pass on egg moves, and all nidoran males are male, obviously.
So how can a nidoran male have a father that's not a nidoran male (or one of its evolutions?)

I would greatly appreciate help. I'm probably just overlooking something.
Thanks in advance.

There's a simple questions thread. Anyway, any egg move the female Nidoran has, I think has a 50/50 chance of passing onto a male Nidoran. Basically just breed it onto a female, then breed again for a male.

See, I thought only the male could pass on egg moves... Or is that incorrect?

Usually its only males, they have an exception for Nidoran. I'm not sure if the ame applies for Volbeat.

Ohhh, Nidoran's an exception? Well that changes everything! Thanks a lot.
According to bulbapedia, "A Nidoran♀ egg has a chance of hatching into a Nidoran♂."
I didn't check the nidoran♀ page because I didn't think it mattered.
Thanks a bunch.
