I figured I'd do some research before importing a game from japan, and figured this would be a good place to start. I'm looking to import Jump Ultimate Stars. Would anyone know how to go about this?

Go for Play-Asia. They ship fast and have decent prices most of the time. I've gotten a few games from them.

Yes-Asia is another option, but I've never used them myself.

Another thing you need to know is about region locks, but the DS doesn't have that, so you're able to play imported games on it without a hitch. For other systems, like the PS2, Wii, etc, they are region locked and you won't be able to play imports on them without some sort of modification (technically illegal, and voids the warranty) or having a system from the same region as the game.

So yeah, use the sites above, and be mindful of the region the game is meant for if you're trying to buy something outside of the DS and PSP. Other sites that sell imports... I'd be weary of, as you may run into bootlegs.

The second I get the money, I'll try Play-Asia. Also, didn't they come out with a disk for the Wii that undoes region locks?

Yeah, but Nintendo's firmware updates make it non-functional it seems. A lot of european Wii owners who used it on imported copies of Brawl were unable to play anything after a firmware update.
