How do i send a social group invitation?

You need to manage the group at "http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/group.php?do=manage&groupid={ID number of your group}," where you'll have the option to have invite members.
 
Go to your group page. At the bottom of the screen is the "Manage Members" link.
 
Actually, you'll want the "Pending & Invited Members" link.
