How do i use aminated avatars?

Even then, if it's a little larger px-wise but smaller than the allotted max KB size, it'll be autoscaled to being the right size for the forums.

But there's the rub- it makes the avatar non-animated when it resizes it.
 
Does it? Hm... I don't normally use animated avatars. I didn't think that they'd stop the animation with the resize.
