How do "Softboiled" and "Milk Drink" work, exactly?

Because the best theories I've got are... disturbing.

Softboiled
We see an egg pop open over Chansey's head (or Happiny's head or Blissey's head, but let's keep this simple) and her HP is regenerated. This can also be used on teammates in the field. So is Chansey eating her own eggs? Is she feeding her eggs to other Pokemon?

Milk Drink
I haven't seen this in action yet but the name is enough to freak me out. Somehow Miltank is drinking her own milk. This is a mental image that I did not need.

Are there any other moves that freak you out a little?

Softboiled: Chansey's eggs are only fertilized after breeding with a Ditto. Under normal circumstances they're simply edible, and have a sweet taste and spongy texture. It restores her companions' injuries.

Milk Drink: Miltank's udders have built-in pasteurizing organs, so it's acceptable for humans and other Pokemon to drink it straight from the udder. When using Milk Drink, the milk is imbued with healing energy. Also, the world of Pokemon is, from time to time, kind'a gross.

I saw the screenshot of it in action with other Pokemon. It was rather darling when Miltank used Milk Drink for Cyndaquil...since...it looks like an ickle tiny baby anyway...but Meowth there, too, was very disturbing for some reason. xD I do find it strange the miltank would drink her own milk, namely because it'd look incredibly awkward...

Softboiled-

I figured her eggs aren't always fertilized, obviously. So they're...just eggs. No baby chanseys or nothing that'd be trying to develop in them. :p ...oh god that'd be horrible.

And jeez, I know there are some moves that freak me out that I just can't recall.

Yeah, I figured the eggs she's serving up to eat are not fertilized. Chickens and several other birds lay unfertilized eggs all the time - they're used in "decoy" nests in the wild. There really aren't that many "invented" biological wierdnesses in fantastic fiction that do not already have precedents in reality. Nature is a mad scientist.
